I'm also 47. Same feeling! Always great to see new MM. Have you seen them live? I think I've been 5-6 times. The first was when they opened for NIN.. i bought the Get Your Gunn CD single right before that and after the concert i have not stopped.

Think that’s part of the reason he made this album the way he did it’s not his typical anti-government anti-religious albums this one he wrote specifically and intimately for the fans because he knows that we’re struggling and Four songs definitely feel like his hand is being put out for us to grab so we can stick together and get through this I’m sure after After this we will get another anti-government album that he’ll be pissed of what has been done to us but right now we just need to stick together
Technically this song is an anti-government song but it’s kind of a sad one and not a pissed off one because the state of the country is just depressing at this point, I’m sure the next album will be a proper pissed off Manson album at the government

Yes I was surprised it wasn't Tyler Bates again but THIS turned out better as they made a freaking MASTERPIECE!!! BEST Manson album in 20 years!!! And the last 2 were really GREAT. I like Born Villain too. But this beats those. The only issue is the last 3 albums were 10 songs. I hate when brands fall into a "pattern" like that. Just like Weezer usually does LOL.

First time I saw him live was when he opened for NIN. Only other time I got a chance to see them live was on the Antichrist Superstar tour. Pretty awesome show! I've still got one of the bloody, torn bible pages around here somewhere, haha
I'm in Australia and have only seen MM once live, back in '99 at a festival... tbh it's all a bit of a blur, as I'd ingested a hearty cocktail of party favours - but anyway, I had a bloody good time.... really good.

Like he’s actually clean and sober for the first time in a long time.
I really felt that way, too. At first it reminded me of a much more focused and solid Born Villain. This album doesn't feel like it dances around or anything; there are no iffy tracks.

One of my top favorite artists. It's amazing how his sound has changed and evolved over the years.
marilyn manson is going to be in the hall of fame, I was never a fan until I really listened to the music, now I have songs from every album.
This energy, it's a masterpiece. Just as good as the classic old tracks!.
So I've listened to the entire album and as a true MM fan i know with each album comes a message/mission usually its government or religious based, not this time. The title of the album says it all, this is a long loving love/support letter to his fans, to us. This entire album was him reach out to us know we are afraid, feeling alone, angry and sad at the state of the world. From Paint You with My love, Keep My Head Together, Solve Coagula, Broken Needle and yes of course We are Chaos he's still telling us its alright to be broken, sad and scared but we are not alone and we can get through this together. He had me in tears in Broken Needle and hoping the madness and hate of 2020 will find some peace at some point.
