Between a canik SF and tisas px-9 gen3, which trigger is better ???
@@MrNinobonito22 Canik hands down.
@@sergeantwilliepete2252 have you tried the Tisas?
@@MrNinobonito22 Yes. It is not on part with the Canik. The Canik is hands down the best trigger out.
I have a few Gen 2's. They are absolute runners. Got them for $250 each. Best bang for the $ I've ever spent.
After a great experience with the Zigana I bought few of their 1911's.
Absolutely love them. Also great runners.
Yes, we have some of their older import 1911s
Grip reminds me of a taurus tx22. I think i shall require a gen 3. For those wondering, slides and grip inserts are interchangeable between gen 2-3, the gun is a perfect fit in Springfield XDM holsters and both front and rear iron sights are glock 9/40 cut pattern on the gen 3 and M&P cut on the gen 2.
Just picked one up today and while I haven’t fired it yet I’m very impressed. Trigger feels great. Optic cut is awesome. RMR cut with no plates to deal with.
I really like your so-called shows because you don't do the most high-class and expensive firearms. You do quotes the working man's gun. These guns are not outrageously expensive. I've shot and owned some of these foreign not so expensive firearms that work fine. I really enjoyed your presentations.
Thank you. Every once in a while we get something fancy in. It'd good to know what one gets for the extra money
@@GBGuns Or does not get, as the case may be.
I love the looks of the pistol.
That O.D. Green is on point.
Nice at least some gun companies listen to the customers, this gun has it !
Looking forward to the full review of this. I have the Gen 1 and really like it. Gen 2 did not look different enough to justify another purchase, but this Gen 3 does. No manual safety, upgraded magwell, and trigger upgrade all look intriguing. Such a soft shooter, I cannot imagine you can go wrong, especially for the price.
Another awesome gun from Turkey I got a Canik Mete sft running a Holosun 407k green dot on it. If the price is right i might grab one of these ! Its an rmr cut on the PX9 G3 btw
Great review. I’ve been waiting for this review! Headed to.shooting impressions video now.
I have the Gen3 coming in this week, had to order it but very much looking forward to doing the review of it. Great video as always sir.
How do you like it?
Look really nice for the price. Love that it's optic ready and the fiber optic sights.
Great review. I love tisas. As good as well known brands but with much less cost.
I have both the OD and the FDE . They are exceptional guns. I also own The Zigana Gen 1 and 3 SDS 1911 .45 s every one has shot flawlessly . They have outshot both my Remington R1 and my Browning 1911 . I caanot recommend these guns enough!
Such an amazing deal these and bersa make great firearms and at amazing prices
Tisas with the generation 3 version appears to have made some great improvements, hopefully that's reflected in the What's for Dinner testing.
I bought this exact same one the army green a few weeks ago got out and shot it last week put an RMR optic on it which is what the cut is for. I really like this gun. I did have a few malfunctions but I think it was due to it being brand new I think it’ll break in fine. I like everything about it I like it so much I ordered two more the tan one and the black one. For the price it’s just a great gun. Can’t wait to see your range review.
It's live now in the article on GBGunsDepot.com
Owner of 2 of these pistols. I am very pleased with them, especially at the price. I wanted to point out that they do come with a tool to pop the pin that holds the back straps. It also has the star-driver pattern for the magwell screw and the optic plate. It is small and you can't get a ton of torque but at least Tisas thought about supplying it. Personally, I run the back-strap that cam with it, the large on the right side and small on the left.
I’ve had really good experiences with tisas fire arms can’t go wrong with them truly get quality for the money
Black Friday sale on this for $250 ! Crazy cheap. I might buy one.
Love that ranger Green color. can't find it though. settled for FDE.. which is OK. Nice no nonsense handgun. Thank you for the video.
Wow, that earlier trigger looks just nutty
I have the gen 1 . Love it
This is 249.99 right now on sale. I'm so tempted, but I don't need a new pistol. Thanks for the table top GB. Looks like a great pistol. Gonna watch your shooting impressions next. Take care
Budsgunshop has them on sale right now (11-7-22) for $209.99 w/free shipping. The model is the same, but it looks like the one on sale comes in black only and the front sight might be a little different (I could be wrong.) Anyways, I just came over here to check it out for myself and thought I'd share what I saw with ya.
Take Care & Stay Vigilant 👍
"Snugger" ???? I love the gun lingo!! Great video as always.👍
Wow this looks incredibly different than the original a year ago before G2 came out. Slide I think looks pretty unique now distancing a bit from Springfield which I enjoy. I think it’ll be worth that new trigger and sights, they watched your video.
The trigger is already good
Wow. That Tisas PX9 Gen 3 looks like a magnificent handgun platform at a reasonable fair price. I may get me one, but will wait for your range assessment and report, GB.
It's a nice upgrade from the G2
@@GBGuns so I see. By the way, Zigana Px9 😁
Tisas= manufacturer Zigana= general model name (they have other "Zigana" guns. PX-9 = specific model nomenclature
@@GBGuns right, I just omitted the Zigana name on my first comment 😁
Like the green. I have a CZ P01 that's also green.
Looking good, may make it on the list👍
These are an outstanding value.
BOUGHT 2 GEN 1'S , MAY GET ONE OF THESE ALSO.
Just ran 100 rounds of 124 grain at the range today. It functioned flawlessly and very accurately. Also found its magazines to fit into my Taurus G3C; i fired a fully loaded 20 round mag from the Taurus. I like the Tisas's trigger better than that of my Canik TP9SF.
Excellent good to know. Thank you kindly.
Thanks for the great video reviews and shooting reports. I purchased a PX9 Gen. 3 after viewing your review. I love it and now have about 250 rounds of CCI Blazer 115gr. . FMJ through it. FYI. I found that a Patriotware Sig P320 holster fits like a glove. Thanks again.
Gerry Yarrish, New Milford, CT. Yes, I have to use 10 rd. Mags.
Thabks for the holster tip! Do you mind adding that tip as a comment on the article over at GBGunsDepot.com?

Looking forward to the next review. I may have to buy this one. I have the gen 1 and it’s a very accurate and controllable.

I have the Gen 2. It's a really good gun, every bit as good as a Springfield or a Glock.
this gun is super nice
Another beauty
Can't trust these as much as a Glock until they have a few decades of hard service, but first impressions are favorable...
My Tisas 1911A-1 was awesome..like all 1911's it needed 300 or so rounds to be properly broken in & after that it ran flawlessly & it was easy to keep nice tight groups even with those tiny G.I. sights.
Liking the PX9 so far but need to substitute some decent Glock Tritium sights.
Nice review 👍👍
I'm really opening my eyes to these imported budget handguns, you and Nutnfancy have changed my opinion on foreign firearms. What has been the most impressive imported handgun that you have handled? I was looking for something full size for competition, possibly something in a bigger caliber for hunting as I shoot 100yd IDPA.
Walther, Canik, and Grand Power are the kings of imports in my mind. If you want 10mm to feel less like 10mm Grand Power all the way
Thank you for a complete and thorough review. Plus the comparison of the GEN2 vs GEN3. As well as the close up shot's, etc..Truly appreciated. With a Google search for the Tisas Zigana PX 9. The first listing Sportsman's Outdoor is not a legitimate site. Buyers beware. I like the GEN1 design best and GEN2 a second. But the grip module looks best on the 2 and 3. Grabagun or Palmetto State Armory are the best. Tnank's again. Stay safe, Cheers
Thank you, but this was only one part. See the pinned comment for the full review.
@@GBGuns Excellent thank you for the heads up. Be safe my friend.
Now that I have the FDE Duty model, I see why Tisas gets away with the Poly rear slide rails. The forward is designed to handle the most of the slide, like the
Springfield XD that this seems to take after. Optic is RMR pattern. A GREAT deal at $300 !!!!
Ok confirmed
The BRG9 - XD9 magazines
Tisas PX9 - P226 magazines
ATI FSX9 - CZ 75 magazines
Are literally all the same gun based on the Springfield XD9, only difference being they take different magazines
Too bad Tisas didn't keep the XD loaded chamber indicator..
They also take the big Canik mags. Bought mine 2 days ago, put 50 rds. of my reloads. It ran well. The rear sight is not centered, so it shot to the left.
What do you mean by big canik mags? Which ones specifically.. I just ordered this gun
Nice 👍

Great review, Thx for the post. God bless America, save our republic and constitutional rights.
Can the trigger on Gen 1 models be improved? I got a Gen 1 for $211 + $35 shipping .... hoping it will be a good pistol as well. ??
Bought one on 4/2 and had to return it to SDS Imports the same day I got it. They replaced the trigger bar and safety plunger, return time was 35 days. Trigger still doesn't feel right to me, hopefully it will break in over time?
would the gen 3 slide assembly fit on a gen 2 with manual safety?
Internals look a lot like xd9 looks like a nice pistol
Ambi slide stop would have been nice.
GB on a description of a pistol what do the initial "IO" mean?
What holsters does it’s fit ??
I know you've reviewed many guns but any suggestions for a 1st between $300-400? Would like to try a FSish gun
What do you mean by FSish?
I LIKE THE ORIGINAL TRIGGER, WISH THEY HADNT MONKEYED AROUND WITH THAT.
Tisas should have kept the rear adjustable sights and the magazine well on the Gen 3 !!!
🙏🏼
i just ordered one but due to me living in MD i will have to order 10 round mags which brand do you recommend since this is my first time buying a firearm ?
Mac-Gar makes mags the Sig 226 mags that are compatible with this gun. They also make them in 10 rounders. Mac-Gar is the premier magazine manufacturer.
Hey there... I am gonna buying px-9 but after this video I am little bit counfused..plz suggest me which one should I buy Gen 2 or 3???
Gen 3
The gen 3 looks like they removed the safety lever and added the trigger safety am I correct with this?
Yep
I saw one of those games today at the gun shop. It kind of looks like a Springfield. You said you were from Oregon I think. I was just wondering are the laws stricks in Oregon pertaining to firearms? Just out of the blue is it illegal to have marijuana and a firearm in an automobile? Is it hard to get a concealed carry permit in Oregon?
Oregon gun laws are pretty good, some counties have dumb laws, and they keep trying to pass storage laws that are impossible to enforce, but overall it's a fairly free state.
px9 gen 3 and canik tp9 sf elite s , which has the best trigger ?
The one you've trained most with.
Can you review the girsan mc p35 match?
Only if the importer wants us to
What size gun does it compare to g17 ? Give us some specific details please and thanks
Always check the manufacturer for specs, not CZcams
Ok
The frame is from a Taurus TX 22
How do you figure? Different shape, different material, and different features.
Just got a gen 2 on sale for 250. Anyone have any experience with upgrading the trigger? That and the sights are the only thing I'm interested in upgrading right now.
None, we review guns as they come out of the box. Sometimes on personal/carry guns we swap sights but that's about it.
I added the XS DXT2 Big Dot night sights made for the S&W to mine. Fits perfectly and a huge improvement.
Thanks!
Does it share the same internals (trigger kits & springs) with the xd or a vp9 perhaps?
I don't know, haven't felt the need to change anything.
@@GBGuns hope aftermarket parts will become available for this fa. Looks very promising. Ended up purchasing one after watching your vid.
@@kennethdaguro121 what don't you like about it that require aftermarket parts?
@@GBGuns i actually haven’t received it yet. judging on its trigger characteristic on your video, i think its already great but a shorter reset would make it an even better trigger i guess..
Are those rear frame rails polymer? No likey that.
Have you ever had them fail?
Can you please do a review of the SAR9 gin 3? That would be gen three
We'd love to
I like the way the Gen. 3SAR9 looks with the cuts in it. I'd like to have a review of it, you really helped me out with a table top and all that so i'd appreciate it, so that's an SAR9 Gen. 3 full size, just not the compact, not the real big one, just kind of in between. I like the full size myself so i'meone or if you could maybe review that I think mint armory. Has those check it out? Thank you.
I keep seeing videos of people shooting the SAR9 pistol. Sometimes it works flawless and a lot of times at James. What's going on with that? Can I still shoot 115 grain? Or does it have to be natal rounds this is where i'm really confused. James not james I hate this stupid talk text. Jams
And i'm also wondering if the s a r nine gen three trigger, the flat faced trigger is any good
@@user-ts3ry3zh2p The gun seems to be made for 124 NATO pressures, but as you saw in our range video runs fine on softer stuff. What you've seen is likely either really soft ammo or lack of a good grip on the gun, or a combination of the two. If you want to find cheaper ammo that still has plenty of energy check out our 9mm range ammo test: www.gbgunsdepot.com/post/the-9mm-range-ammo-guide
Hey Graham what would you choose between this gun and the psa dagger? I had the dagger in mind but then saw these on classic Firearms for 250$ Thanks! Subbed 🍻 🍻
Welcome to the channel. Between those two it really depends on what you're looking for.
@@GBGuns Thanks!Honestly I like them both so was just wondering what you might think the better shooter/value between the 2. Either would just be essentially a range toy and to add to the collection so no real need. Was just curious what you thought was the better out of the 2. Thanks for any advice
This is the better range gun in my opinion.
It's basically a XD9 with no grip safety
What about trigger weight?
We don't weight triggers, it's useless information unless it's stupid light or heavy. The feel is far more important
@@GBGuns ok then, i remember once you measured each guns
I did before I knew better. After reviewing hundreds of pistols and attending handgun courses at four different schools I've come to find that unless a trigger is absurdly light or heavy the weight matter little. It's the feel that makes a trigger good or bad.
I know this is an old video, but I have to ask are you going to go to Rumble?
We can't go there because we're already there.
@@GBGuns I looked you up and couldn’t find you.
Never mind I just found it
Between a canik SF and tisas px-9 gen3, which trigger is better ???
Wtf they just came out with the gen 2
They got rid of the frame safety in the Gen3. Also the cut angle of the slide looks like a damn Tesla truck. I will stick with my 2 Gen2's and the 3rd gen2 I just bought off G4G. Doesn't get any better than Gen2.
Watch the second video. These are greatly improved
Your thumbs up counter was at 666 and I am superstitious so I made it 667. Also a great video.
Nice vid... but that green is fugly man
Then if you're interested in the gun I recommend not getting the green.
There just aren’t enough green guns.
COMP- IN- TATER???.
I hate they took the manual safety off. I was thinking about buying a gen 3 but now I guess I’ll have to settle for a gen2. A trigger safety is no safety at all. Any child that gets their hands on a gun with a trigger safety will not stop them from pulling the trigger. I don't understand the theory of what a trigger safety does. How is it a safety? If you don't like a manual safety, then just leave it in the fire position. Personally, anytime I remove my gun, the safety goes on. Unfortunately, there are too many stupid adults that will pick up a gun when they see one and put their finger on the trigger.
Tp9 or px9?
The slide is not easing forward in disassembly … level is down at 90?? Frustrated
With all due respect I just don't like the way it looks it looks too bulky great review though
You should see how it shoots
Not feeling the green at all.
They're also available in black and FDE
So you're reviewing a gun but won't say what optic its cut for unless we buy and read your Article
No, reviewing a gun, and at the time of filming not sure what optic it fits. So you're watching videos and taking everything someone says on CZcams at higher value than manufacturer specs?
@@GBGuns planning ahead
I just got the G3 today. It’s a rmr/ holosun optic cut and it is the best factory cut I’ve seen. Perfect fit with my 407C. Optic screws directly to the frame and it sits low enough for the iron sights to just barely co-witness.
@@psa1c thanks
I wonder if this Gen 3 slide will fit the Gen2? I love my Gen 2, just wished it had an optic cut. I don’t want to have it drilled out.
Trigger is a nope. Plenty of other polymer/striker pistols.
Too nice of a trigger?
