Subha Srinivasan I’ve the same doubt. Lol. I usually don’t boil the veggies separately if I’m cooking them using a pressure cooker anyway. No need to boil separately is my opinion. It cooks perfectly inside a pressure cooker

Seeing ingredients getting wasted burns my heart and concerns me about the future. Although u cook very well but scooping ingredients while putting them doesn't harm in fact saves... U don't know what u waste has what value for someone who can't afford... Please take care next time Mrs. Subramanium
I agree with u madam. Scooping that extra rice in the bowl and the onions left wouldn't have caused an earthquake if it were put in the dish. Really madam very disappointing everyday people die of hunger and here full wastage is there
There is good chance they added it but didnt record it or might have edited it out, as it will hinder the flow of the video and they give much importance to aesthetics. Dont judge her without knowing wat happend.

I used to same recipe but instead of aloo and matar I added boiled egg (cut up) and it turned out great!

250 ml of basmati rice means its half kg rice or 1 kg
