Your videos are fantastic. Damn, do I miss Conrail! What really amazes me is how, a mere 25 years ago, rolling stock - boxcars, gons, hoppers, et al - were pretty much all graffiti-free. Your videos bring me back to a time when CR was the pride of the Class 1 railroads.
Conrail used to also run through my hometown of Brockton MA. Much of their motive power consisted of EMD GP40s and GE U-boat diesels (the latter often having "Conrail Quality" markings.) After Conrail folded in 1999, CSX took over running the freight trains through here, all of them using GP40-2 locomotives.
