M83's seventh studio album 'Junk' is out now: m83.it/buyjunkYo Taken from the album 'Hurry Up We're Dreaming', which also includes Midnight City, Reunion, Wait, Steve McQueen, Outro and More...
I bought this album on vinyl for my little sister on her 16th birthday. She’s now 26 with a baby on the way. She told me at Christmas this year that she thinks this is one of the greatest albums of all time and that it reminds her of being a teenager. Mission successful.
+bryan syminiuk Besides dreams, it's also about Anthony's childhood and childhood generally. He wrote the songs about the nostalgia and melancholy you get as an adult when you think about your childhood. If you love this album you should listen to the version with Anthony's commentary (it's on Spotify).
I finished school a few years ago. I listened to HUWD pretty much every day on the bus journey home in the bright summer sunshine. Now when I listen to HUWD and this song in particular, it reminds me of those happy times. Hanging out with friends, having fun with no real cares. The best times of my life. Of all the artists I listen to, M83 is the only one who makes me feel things. That’s why this song and this album is a whole is incredible. My favourite
Midnight city charted hard. I bought this album at 18, now 24. This has aged so well. I just remember skyrim and this album lol. Sad more focus wasnt placed on this gorgeous music. Already lost and forgotten
Not forgotten. I’ve been obsessed with midnight city, reunion, wait, and intro for a couple years now, and just recently decided to check out the whole album. Don’t worry, it still has its fans
One of my favorite tracks from M83. Gives me a strange sensation of empty inside me, hearing the unknow noises and unusual sounds from the start of this song it really is something. After that, an explosion of emotions from the song.
Alone, twenty millions years from my place. A slide, on the starlight. Watch out, a new planet right on my trail The space, oh oh it's mine Oh oh! I'm lost, in an infinite night trip. The sun, could make me blind. I wish, I could bring a girl to my ship. And fly, her hand in mine! Oh oh! Alone, twenty million years from my place (Is the dream over?) The space, oh oh it's mine!
You probably know official video for this song is directed by Bryce Dallas Howard (my biggest idol), but when I found out this is also one of her favorite songs, I couldn't stop crying. Whenever I listen to it, it makes me weirdly emotional and I'm trying to imagine her being so happy. I love her and this song has for this special reason place in my heart. ❤️
@@schitflowsdwnhil I'm fully supportive towards her role and incredible performance and I was beyond satisfied with all three movies. She did a brilliant piece of job, I'm sorry that you struggle to acknowledge it.
I came to find this tune in a radio station I used to work on and a dj played it every night its now in my system I play it often when I ride my bicycle along the ocean in Daytona beach were I live now bad ass tune m83 kicks ass great music
yes! i made a road trip playlist on spotify and almost all the songs from this album are in it hahaha! they have the perfect vibe for a long spring/summer trip
Holy shit man . time flies, it was only like 4 years ago when i was listening to this album while getting high on that legal weed in Cali in 2013. I love then nights in the west coast.
Ngl, hurry up, we're dreaming is one of my favorite álbums of all time. And this song was one of the first that i've downloaded of the álbum. It means a lot to me, just like reunión or Midnight City. I hope more people would know about M83.
For anyone who played Ocarina of Time growing up . . . doesn’t the intro also remind you of the Forest Temple theme?? I swear, something about those instrumentals.
Someone knows more about the suit? I wanna buy it. I am rich by the way so i can afford it probably. It's just so I portent for me personally. I NEED THIS thing. I would give one of my millions of dollars to get jsut this mask.

awesome
M83 is totally teenager and holidays vibes. m83 means a dream becoming true
one of the best concept albums ever made
What's the concept behind the record? I know it has to do with dreams obviously but is there another underlying meaning??

+That Guy Great indeed.
You probably haven't listened to Dark Side of the Moon then.
@@tomlittle9103 Aka the most overrated album of all time
@@PhenomenalJec Matter of taste?
The most under rated song on the album. I always thought so. The end is a delight

OMG I'M IN LOOOVE WITH THIS ALBUM IT REMINDS ME A LOT OF STRANGER THING 💘
I think the "Stranger Things" creators were really hooked on this album when they came upon the concept for their show. (!!)

New album, again awesome..
Chapeau
Love how the description leaves out Intro: the best song on the album.
Cuando me muera quiero que toquen este álbum eso sería espectacular..

THAT BASS
fantAstic
This sounds like it's heavily influenced by Tears for Fears, The Hurting. Yet another reason to like it I guess.
Thanks for this info, I am listening to that as well! :)
Nice...
2020 summer
Dios !
M83 and 1975?
heck yes. and the band camino
This song is very similar to songs of Miami Horror
Does anyone else hear bits of ok pal in this song?
Why did not you put the original video, with lily collins in blue hair? :(
Yo this song is NASTY!!!!!
If you guys like the bass is this song, you should listen to "The Less I Know The Better" by Take Impala.

Doo doo doo
After hearing Outro used as theme for Versailles on TV I am disappointed by the rest of this album.
