Construction for Deer Lodge's biggest subdivision in 70 years begins

Housing availability continues to be a major problem across western Montana.
In Deer Lodge, the community is working to find a solution to not only keep people in town, but also help with recruiting, as crews broke ground on a major subdivision on Monday morning.
The Beaumont Place subdivision is a 44-acre spot just west of interstate 90 on the northeast side of town. It will be the largest new subdivision in Deer Lodge in 70 years.
