In my opinion there are some degrees which are competely useless infront of courses but still some degrees have a worth such as engineering youtube is an added benefit but not an alternative to a degree

I am a moderately skillful and knowledgful person in IT/ Computer Science and tech related stuff.
But there's more to it than programming. Sure it's the core part but there are many more areas to explore and gain knowledge in to secure a better future in technology against competition.

Computer Architecture
Algorithms
etc.
All these make up as wonderful skills and knowledge to hold for future proofing as well.
The world is not so simple as you depict. Degree is important with enhanced skills.

@@ahmadtaslim8786 You can take online short courses on this topic from platforms like coursera, udemy etc. This is the recommendation if you're in Pakistan.
But if you can afford going foreign. Than a bachelor's degree in data science fused with thorough research on your own from well equipped research universities like MIT would be best.

Azad bhi. I latterly didn't give any entry test to any university for Software Engineering. Each person is just taunting me that I'm wasted.
But by doing so I'll do Software engineering, animation , grapic designing, photography, video editing, give tuition and travel.
I'm happy with the risk I'll take about my life.

Azad bhai ap ki baat se me partially disagree karta hu. A jo skill bata rahy ha wo IT se related ha. jo ap online learn kar sakty ha. But there are many degrees which are not useless. like engineering and medical ki. Industries like Petrochemical, petroleum, cement, construction, tranportation, architechture, healthcare etc. need degree which. Agar degree nikal bhi du tabb bhi ap online Engineer ya doctor nahi ban sakty. You need institutes. Aor hamari economy ka kafi share yeh dety ha. Yes, I also forgot Agriculture. Rahi baat skills ki tu har koi Tu ITian nahi bann sakta har aik k apny apny interests. Job k hawaly se IT dominant ha I agree. So, coding, editing, designing etc. are good. Azad bhai ap ne aik part explore kia ha jo k huge ha. There are other parts of universe also. Ham plant equipments, cars, cranes, heavy machines electronic equipment bahir se import karty ha jis me billions dollar lagty ha. Mazzy ki baat yeh ha k ham chemicals bhi import karty ha, iss lye nahi k hamary pass facility nahi ha banany ki bul k iss lye k wo chemicals classified (unknown) hoti han. Hamm bana sakty ha. So, WE SHOULD DIVERSIFY THE SKILLS, WORKFORCE ETC.
In his previous videos he clearly mentioned that he never targets the degree to become a doctor or lawyer . Both of these have alot of practical work included .
Not only medical or engineering, business degree is necessary to become manager... you can't learn Marketing, Finance, HRM, Accounting without degree.

Degree is an added benefit and yes it does wastes your time if it is solely based on ratta but if you already know your interest you should get a degree but if you haven't figured out your interest then degree is not good for you if you hate your career in the middle of the degree those will be the worst years of your life

yes i am against the degree for the sake of degree and marks. but if ones degree or marks are really reflected in his skills and application then that degree is legit one. alas, our education system is only for useless rat race for marks. very few legit degree holders are here. So, we need to rethink education standards and gear it towards legit degrees and skills

May be you are right but I am listening this skills for the first time people aren't aware of these skills.

Eu has made policies related to companies issuing these figures and people are interested to know if they are buying sustainable products. This is why it is important to learn about these in order to sell to the right customer and to the right market. Sustainability reporting is gaining popularity as well in market. With the skills I've mentioned you can work as a consultant. But all these are just examples from one field, people should think what intrigues them and then learn that one thing that they like and they can market as well.

Instead of courses, a suggestion would be to focus on employable skills. You can gain employable skills through both degrees and courses. It has more to do with you and less to do with what and where you study. For instance, I've seen graphic designers on fiver who are just recycling material. If you have skills and passion, you would do something unique. I've had degrees and believe they are a good stepping stone to learning new stuff.
Unfortunately, your video, in my humble opinion is adding to the problem Pakistan is facing, sheep mentality. Don't do what others are doing, do what you are good at or what you find fun doing (but is also commercially viable). This is an opinion and not a review, hence, I would love to hear some counterarguments.
You are exactly the problem my dear nikaya pidya, , , anybody who has passion and skills in graphic designing or anything else, will eventually learn it better/quicker through the mediums azad bhai mentioned, rather than sitting in a silly degree for years and wasting his youth at the hands of a supposedly qualified professor who might be out of touch in the real world.
Your 2nd point it being commercially viable? All the things brother Azad suggested are, were and will be viable for a long time to come.
