    I have inherited the same motor but I have no boat in thinking of selling it does anyone know how much they are worth in today's market.

    Mine bucks real hard in neutral and idle. I cleaned carb, replaced spark plugs, checked spark and compression, changed fuel line from gas tank, and replaced fuel pump.
    Thoughts?

      I’ve found most issues are carb related so long as there’s a strong, regular spark. Make sure it’s super clean and check for any damage to jets or air leaks.

      @@MegaStinger75 if there was something wrong with the carbs wouldn’t it also run like crap at wot?

      Depends where any blockage is. Not quite sure about your particular engine but blocked idle jets or an air leak can cause issues at idle that disappear when throttle is open. If it’s revving freely I would have thought the ignition was ok.

      @@MegaStinger75 what do you mean revving freely or did you mean not revving freely

    • @MegaStinger75
      @MegaStinger75  Před rokem

      As in, if it revs freely and runs ok at WOT, it sounds more like a carb issue than ignition. Difficult to tell without hearing / seeing it. You might be better off posting a video and asking for suggestions.
