Basically stole the show in UGF: New Generation where he managed to be on par with Etelgar (Etelgar having defeated such Ultras like NEXUS and GAIA) and then managed to fight Tregear to a draw IN TREGEAR'S OWN BACKYARD. I call him THE BEAST because frankly, Ribut's been getting some strong push.

In fact, I love how UNESCO did a good job reconciling this Silat issue by acknowledging "Pencak Silat" as Indonesia's Cultural Heritage and at the same time acknowledging "Silat" as Malaysia's Cultural Heritage. With those UNESCO recognitions, none have exclusive claim over the Silat Martial Art, and the Nusantara (ASEAN countries) region ALL have indirect cultural rights over Silat in general. Indonesians and Malaysians should be proud that the Silat heritage is being recognized not only by UNESCO but also pop culture in the likes of Box Office Movies (The Raid, etc), Animation Series (Upin & Ipin) and now Tokusatsu (Ultraman).

I really love how they depicted Ribut in Live Action. I mean... Most of difficult enemy that other Ultramans find it difficult to face or need fusion sometimes. Ribut fought them just like *"walk causally in the park"* with those enemies. For example the guy from movie GingaVictory. And then Tregear at the end of this Galaxy movie. 😅😅😅😅😅... Let's be honest. Ribut is the only Ultra (that came from the Showa Universe) in the Reiwa era that is very skilled fighter and warrior without transforming to any upgraded forms. Just like Ultraman Taro & Leo. The way he fights is very solid like Taro & Leo, yet tranquil and focus like Cosmos.

When I was a kid, I'm a huge fan of ultraman and I idolised them very much. I always dream about becoming my favourite hero. However, I always get teased and bully for admiring a fictional hero that's native to us. Some even said harsh words like ultraman is ridiculous, they are enemies of Malaysia, Ultraman is not welcome in Malaysia. While I understand Ultraman is fiction, it pains me how some people would badmouthing about the hero I admired. Eventually, I got over the teasing. Until when Ultraman Ribut was introduced and is Malaysia's own original Ultraman, I was ecstatic that Malaysia now has its own Ultraman. I feel like I want to gloat right at those bullies' face now that there is an ultraman in Malaysia. Thank you Tsuburaya and Les' Copaque for bringing a new hero to my life.

Wish Ultraman Ribut would have a power where it could summon clouds of storms, it's literally its name. Or even better, create a different whole dimension full of storms to fight with enemies, just like how Nexus create a different dimension to fight to avoid causing destruction. Maybe when they made Ultraman Ribut series, idk

When I was a kid, I'm a huge fan of ultraman and I idolised them very much. I always dream about becoming my favourite hero. However, I always get teased and bully for admiring a fictional hero that's native to us. Some even said harsh words like ultraman is ridiculous, they are enemies of Malaysia, Ultraman is not welcome in Malaysia. While I understand Ultraman is fiction, it pains me how some people would badmouthing about the hero I admired.
Eventually, I got over the teasing. Until when Ultraman Ribut was introduced and is Malaysia's own original Ultraman, I was ecstatic that Malaysia now has its own Ultraman. I feel like I want to gloat right at those bullies' face now that there is an ultraman in Malaysia. Thank you Tsuburaya and Les' Copaque for bringing a new hero to my life.
