This is in the future past Liongate. Aaron lost himself after regaining his memories. He wasn't able to deal with everything all over again, hence making himself go insane. He started to trust people less and distance himself. He often would go to bars and pretend to like the people he hung out with. No matter how broken and lost he was, his friends never have up on him. (Also, Aaron isn't cheating on aphmau with the other girls. Even though he's going through a rough time he still loves and cherishes aphmau, and would never cheat on her.)
