How do you unlock pattern tracks??? I don't see that option on my screen.
What do you mean by that ?
You have to have the latest version of Logic Pro X... But in the workspace window, right click next to the track and select the "Create Pattern Region" option..
@@BeatMakingBasics Thank you so much. I didn't know they consolidated it to the same spot as the "MIDI Region" part of Logic Pro instead of the add-on selection part.
You have Logic 10.8, but what Mac to you have and year. I might have to upgrade to new Mac before I can get 10.8. Thanks, sir.
You might .. I had to upgrade when they came out with 10.5. ... but im using 2021 version with the M1 chip

Don't have splice so what's a free alternative
Apple Loops has thousands of sounds and loops you can use and it comes with Logic Pro X
is there a way to do this without paying for splice ?
Yes just drag and drop other samples you have or use the free loops that come with logic (apple loops)
