    Girl, I did the same exact thing. I was doing the same challenge but i stopped cause I just didn't have enough once all the smaller numbers were filled and I didn't need the unnecessary stress that I created for myself when I didn't have enough money to fill an envelope. you have to do what is best you you and your budget

    • @martao817
      @martao817 Před 3 lety +8

      You could just take money from smaller envelopes and put them together in bigger ones. For example take everything from evelope 1-10 and put it in envelope 55.
      But of course dropping the challange is also not bad! We all need to do what's the best for us 😊

Don’t give up on yourself, because set backs are what make us stronger and teach us!! Best of luck on your move and all of your adventures and thank you for sharing!!

    That’s amazing of you!!!
    A few years ago my in-laws gave us $3,000 to get out of the living situation we were in and start “renovating” our house. When they moved to Texas it was a none stop asking train or hinting when we’d be able to pay them back. Even though they told us not to worry about it. Pay them back when we could. We didn’t worry too much even with their subtle hints because they ate out so much that I knew they didn’t need it too badly. We needed our taxes and I didn’t want to pay them to struggle ourselves. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I don’t know. But we definitely won’t be borrowing money from them ever!!

    It’s not the end! You can always start again when you have the means to do so. I’m not a low income earner, but I still do have debt that I’m still paying off (student loans and my car) so I need to live like I’m making half of what I make. If that makes sense lol. It sucks, but in the long run I’ll have more money to do whatever I’d like. Well I’ll be free to do whatever I’d like…if I choose to do so. Sacrifices like you’ve mentioned girl.Good luck. You’ll be fine!

    Hi Karla! Don’t beat yourself up about using the money. The whole point of the challenge is to save money and you did! You had a need and because you had it saved you don’t have to swipe your credit card for it.
    You have saved it once so you can totally save that much and even more!
    Budgeting is a journey and sometimes there is a challenge but remember you will always make it through!

    I dont think you should be upset about this. And honestly I wouldnt even call it a fail. Just a “budget adjustment”. The best thing about this is that you still have the Cash money to put towards your immediate needs instead of going into debt. Great video and I really appreciated your honesty
