This is genius!! I have made frozen breakfast burritos but never thought to make the sandwiches like that... my husband would LOVE this! And putting the eggs on a pan and cooking that way saves time makes it that much easier! Thanks for sharing. 🤗

I'm in same shoes. 4 am some morning here.
My 3 year old loved the yoghurt cups. Was so easy for him to grab when I was nursing his younger brother if he wanted something. I called them snowflakes so that he would be more interested and we made some together during his younger brother's nap time. This video is encouraging me to make some again. I've cooked extra amounts last week when cooking dinner and I am slowly building up a freezer meal collection. Thanks for the inspiration Amy and hopefully this comment encourages another young Mum out there that it doesnt take long and is definitely worth that little push later on. God always helps me overcome when I ask Him for help:) God bless you all abundantly! :)

She loved the ideas for breakfast but more than that she fell in love with your energy, the way you kept cleaning things, the way you kept the kitchen clean. The moment you used your immersion blender to scramble the eggs....that right there is pure mama genius!
Put your "simmer spices" in a small or medium crock pot and set aside without lid to do it's thing. I keep one going in winter for the extra moisture in the air plus yummy smells💜

I talked my son and his wife into doing freezer meals since they are always busy with school, work and life and they have been loving it. I wish I would've done this when my kids were little and I was working full-time. I would've been less stressed for sure!

I used to work two jobs a few years ago and one was 50-60 hours a week so I got into the habit of doing this. Now I am a sahm and I cannot break the habit. It really allows me to live in the moment and eliminates a lot of stress..Glad your son's family can benefit too. And thank you, Amy for sharing!

French toast: we end up with end slices, an odd dinner or hot dog/hamburger roll, I cube it and put them in ramekins, add the egg milk sugar spices and bake. Can be made the night before and put in refrigerator. I sometimes add bits of apple. Sprinkle sugar on top? Bake 350° until knife in center comes out clean.

why do people thumb down? ridiculous. Loved the ideas, helps me a lot that you take the time to post these videos. You are definitely one of those "work smarter not harder" people.
As an older viewer, sometimes scrolling through comments I hover too long and don't even realize I have managed to do a thumbs up or down...
I realized I can put regular scotch tape on my plastic tubs, label on that with a sharpie and it peels right off when I am ready to wash them. Maybe everyone knew this already? But it was a happy moment for me.

This video finally inspired me to get up and do some meal prep for my household. I made some breakfast burritos for myself and my kiddos for this week, along with a big batch of steel cut oats portioned out with different fruits and chocolate/nut butter mixes. I also made breakfast sandwiches, overnight oats, a couple of dinners for my kiddos and a big batch of black bean soup for myself. I started while I was on vacation last Thursday and finished up today. This will save so much time and money for the three of us! Thanks for the inspiration & God Bless!!! 👍🏾👍🏾

fyi, when freezing eggs, they freeze better if you blend them either with a little salt, or a little sugar. Mark the egg package that has had either salt or sugar added to it and how many eggs are scrambled in the package, this way you can thaw the mixture and use it as needed either for breakfast or baking. If you want to separate the yolk from white, blend separate with salt or sugar in the yolk, the white will be alright without either. The salt and sugar prevent the yolk from being rubbery.

So you reminded me I have a bunch of veggies in my crisper. So after work I am mincing it all up to make a putting each veg in baggies to freeze so they don't go bad. For lunch I am going to use them for a salad and stuffed sliders. (Think meatloaf but in burger patty form with veg on top)

My favorite breakfast freezer meal is banana pancakes. Great video's and I'm glad more video's are being made to show more women thinking ahead for there families. I use to think like this back in the 90's and my partner at that time thought I was crazy preparing meals ahead and shopping for Christmas ahead and planning for our kids ahead for the next stages as they where growing and changing in life. I'm very thankful to see I wasn't the only humanitarian that thinkd ahead
Planning is good but we have to be ready for the upheavals that come too

My favorite freezer breakfast meal is garlic bread toasted with ham,egg & cheese. I toast the bread before I make the sandwiches. Then I freeze. When I want one I pop it in my air frier and it's 😋 Thank you Amy for motivating me to gather my fragments. It has saved me time and a lot of money.

LIke your show alot, but many times the music filler is just to dang loud and irritating. Maybe think about that, especially the volume. I can do without any music but I think some like it. Just an idea.
