Which makes perfect sense, jiving with many of the Easy Press heat settings per Cricut's HEAT GUIDE.

I don't understand why everyone gets so bent out of shape that there are mishaps. Its real life. I don't want to watch a tutorial that doesn't express the real challenges. I hate that a blank was wasted but if the goal is also to teach, then showing what to look for and what to avoid and to show that everyone can overlook a step or have a mishap is extremely important. Don't be hard on yourself. Perfection is over rated. No one is perfect

I don't have a sublimation printer but I love it. I will start with sublimation infusible ink transfer paper until I can buy a sublimation printer. Everything is beautiful.

Actually, adding cork to the coasters after the sublimation process sounds like a great idea...just to avoid getting the cork everywhere and accidentally into your sublimation design.
I used to work in a big well known supermarket in the UK and sometimes had to do the shrink wrap in the bakery. The satisfaction is REAL 😂😂😂

Lol I’m making my way further in to video and just had to add that I drink my white wine from my favorite mug. It was a super cute mug I got from Anthropologie a few years ago and I have kids and kittens and I was afraid of my wine glass tipping over 🤣

I'm glad to see someone cutting the design and placing it manually. I had an order for 2 photo mugs and the wrap just wasn't accurate. I just cut and placed it.... so yes it makes lots of sense 🥰

Did you buy all the sublimation tools? If so are you happy you did? I am at the point where I am wondering if it is worth it. I bought my Maker 2 months ago and stocked up on vinyl and things for paper crafting. And now this is a whole other world that will cost hundreds. Would love to hear your take on sublimation.

Love, love, love your videos! I love sublimation too and these projects are awesome! I found though, if you rotate your projects in the oven it distributes the heat evenly so your projects will come out brighter on both sides and maybe try a bit longer than 6 minutes or a higher temp.
Also, shrink wrap comes off much easier if you peel it while it's still hot/warm :) Hope you had a great holiday season!

Great sublimation gift ideas they are so cute. I use my Cricut Mug press for the mason jars you are using works beautifully. I’ve done several mason jars that way, including the sublimation mason jar with handles. I use the mug templates in Creative studio they work wonderfully. Love, love, love the vintage Santa mug and your garden flag. Your channel is amazing.
Yes!! I think for designs like the ones I did for the mason jar mugs, the Mug Press works well. However, I don't like the mug press for when I want a full wrap on the tumbler because it doesn't work as well as I'd like.
I always put my tumblers in the center of the wrap and I never have a problem
So many cute ideas!!! Sometimes when you use shrink wrap the heat starts activating the ink. The brighter side of the mason tumbler could have been the first side. There are videos out there that use the oven without the shrink wrap.
So interesting! So without the shrink wrap, is it tight enough to sublimate evenly?

Hi, I think the reason the one side was light was because of the heat gun. Look back at this video. Heat gun was more concentrated to one side.

Just got my printer it is an epson. Setting up my area to us it. I have the cricut maker which I plan to use for designs . Now I will watch you more to learn how to make more items thanks for the videos.
Do you like your Epson printer? I am considering getting a new printer for sublimation. Epson Ecotanks can be used for sublimation but everyone raves about the Sawgrass. They are pricey and not sure if I want to spend so much on a printer since it’s just a hobby for me.

Hello, new subscriber! Love your informative videos. On this video you were perplexed about the brighter side of the tumbler and the other side not as vivid. Just my thoughts, could it be when you used the heat gun to shrink wrap, it was more concentrated heat on that side and not as much heat on the other side? Bethany I wonder if the muted side of the tumbler design was not as tight against the mug or possibly the temperature was different on one side. One other thing I noticed was using the heat shrink you are applying heat to the design which might start the sublimation process. Just thinking out loud as I have not tried sublimation yet. Thank you so much for your videos, they are always very detailed and informative.

You cannot, the oven you use needs to be dedicated solely to sublimation and cannot be used for food at all. Hope this helps!

Love, love, love it all. I did a coffee mug for my granddaughter and I used the red and black buffalo plaid infusible ink, and when it came out of the mug press it was very vibrant. I was over their house today, and when I went to get a mug to make myself a cup of coffee, the mug that I had made was all faded, and the color looked like the infusible ink before I pressed it in the mug press. I was told that with the infusible ink, it was dishwasher safe. Have you ever had that happen?
I have never had that happen. Did you use a sublimation mug? As a reminder, you have to use a sublimation mug, not just any mug.
@@Bethadilly Yes it was a cricut sublimation mug. When it came out of the mug press it was very vibrant. When it was advertised on HSN they said that the mugs done with infusible ink are dishwasher safe. Is there a determined amount of time that you need to wait before washing?

I got a printer and a oven just to scared to set the printer up. Scared I am going to do something wrong. Can you tell me if doing it has any smell. I only have one lung and smells sometimes make me try to cough up my other lung. Lol great video as always.
