I'm $10 per window exterior or $15 for the same window inside and out. I use a portable water fed pole and regular ladders where needed with a minimum of $250 which generates a decent amount of work and income. I am also just a solo operator so simply do door hangers on days I don't have work.
That’s great! Thanks for sharing! Do you do door to door and/or do store fronts?
@PazWindowCleaning Not allowed to knock on most homes here in Kansas, so usually just door hangers whenever I'm doing a job unless I see a neighbor outside. I do mostly residential but going to push for more commercial jobs this year and also gutter covers, which have a high profit margin of $250 to $500 an hour after expenses.
Gotcha! I’ll try and mention that to others that can’t do door to door so that they can help them. Thanks!! And commercial is great when you can get the job 😃
@@PazWindowCleaning keep up the good work buddy
@@cyborgclarke thank you and you too! You’ll do great this year! 😃
I usually reject 199 jobs or now what I do is accept customer falls in love w us nd upsell her something 50+ most of the time they end up giving me tip so that 199 job turns into 249-300
That’s awesome!
Great video, very informative and practical. Thank you for your upfront honest approach and for sharing your experience!
Thank you! I’m really happy to hear that you liked it 😃
Great information on pricing! I kinda like flat rate not to exclude per-window depend on each job I say! Not trying to work 5 days just 2 to 3 days depending on the jobs and time! 😀
Great! I would say getting a water Fed then would be the way to go
Your sayings is very different to what I’m use to on hearing. My inspiration to do window cleaning was because of Oliver Lester’s /josh Lester. We have a different mentality.
I’m not familiar with them but possibly they are a newer company and do things a certain way. Hey if it works for them great 👍🏻
We go of how long is it going to take and to close ppl after the 3rd no
Thanks for the insight. How do you decides if a certain window or property will require traditional squeegee vs just doing all your jobs with a water fed pole?
Thanks!! I go into every job thinking I can do waterfed. Very rare I do traditional. I only do traditional if the windows leak a lot of water, for example there’s a gap between the frame and the window itself
@@PazWindowCleaning That makes sense. Thanks!
What should a newbie charge for their first job?
Hard to say for each job but having a minimum is best. Probably starting around $150. If you do end up getting a water Fed… then go higher on your minimum for sure 👍🏻
Where do you recommend to get licensed and insured?
Look online with what licenses you need to work in the city you want to work in, also you could go to the city hall and ask. For insurance I use Next.
