20:51 Hugh's mother is most likely Princess Saera Targaryen, daughter of King Jaehaerys I. In the book she is described as tempestuous, demanding and disobedient. After a scandal and years of fighting with King Jaehaerys and Queen Alysanne, Princess Saera was sent to Oldtown. From there she fled across the Narrow Sea to Lys and began working in a pleasure house. Saera was known to have at least 3 bastard sons, but may have had more.
Oscar was the mvp of the episode. I love that the dragons pick their riders. I believe Rhaenyra told Ulf to go to Kingslanding to draw Aemond out so they could ambush him. That last shot of Rhaenyra and the 3 dragons waiting on Aemond gave me life. She's such a badass. Loved your reaction 🖤

I think when Corlys said well done to Addam he was acknowledging him. Oscar Tully and Ser Simon were my favorites this episode. Aemond is in a bind. Rhaenyra has 3 new dragon riders and Rhaena is probably going to claim the wild dragon in the Vale. I cannot wait for the finale!
I agree about Corlys. Everyone wants them to hug it out or something but they don’t have a relationship like that. All Addam wanted was to be seen by Corlys and he got that.

UGH THIS EPISODE WAS EVERYTHINGGGGGGG!!! Second best after episode 4 imo. This season finale will be HARD AF, I'm so excited!! Also, Aemond better not make my girl Helaena ride Dreamfyre (her dragon) to battle, she's the only green I care for😭

I really think Vermithor had his eye on Hugh from the start. There was a moment where Vermithor could've easily flamed that woman Hugh hid with but he hesitated, I think Vermithor was waiting to see what Hugh would do. The fact he went out to save the woman proved Hugh was brave enough to ride him....

I love trying to see non-book readers trying to guess Aegon's arch. If they stick to the books, you'll never see it coming.
Daemon needed to be humbled to fulfill certain prophecies. This is how shadow work works. The fact that so many people were complaining about it, shows that few are capable of finding healing through shadow work. I find the show's interpretation of it interesting and entertaining.

No. Rhaenyra command him to go to king's landing. She want him to lure Vhagar to go after him to dragonstone. She want the greens (aemond) to know that the big riderless dragons on dragonstone now have riders and on her side.
@@dewantoroo not a bad guess but I doubt it. Everyone’s first ride is a bit of a wild card. Just like Aemond with Vhagar. Even when Rhaenyra asked Addam if he could make it to Dragonstone his reply was, he would try, knowing controlling Sea Smoke was still a bit of a challenge having just bonded. We will have to wait til Sunday. Can’t wait!

My favorite dragon is a tie probably Seasmoke or vermithor. Silvering is second. She looks majestic. I like how ferocious vermithor looks. Scars of battle I think vaghgar is kind of ugly.
This season of HOTD feels a little like prime Game of Thrones and I absolutely needed that feeling back. Game of Thrones Season 4 vibes. At least, kind of lol

Rhaena did not follow her queen's orders, abandoned the children she was supposed to be a mother to and ran to a wild dragon, even though the previous one almost ate her. Rhaena has already betrayed Rhaenyra.

But accused’s reaction to these things is always flat out denial, followed by hypotheticals instead of honest introspection.
