These are all 9 demon moons (plus 1 hashira) and exactly how they've died. We're talking about the lower rank demon moon Rui loss against Giyu, and Gyutaro and Daki's fight against Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Tengen (the sound hashira). Another overlooked thing. Rui was a favorite of muzan because he was in almost the exact situation muzan was when he was human. So he took special interest in Rui explaining why his death added that extra level of rage seeing rui die was like seeing a mirror image of himself die

I’m really upset and sad that Rengoku died… he was fearless. He was a hero and he protected and saved people. I loved him and still do. I was bawling my eyes out when he died. Especially the last scenes of the movie. And then the next day, I was watching the first episode is season 2 and when Tanjiro and rengoku’s family were talking about him I cried again. It’s sad. Rengoku was and still is one of my hashira.

Sorry in advance for making you read an essay: the big brother (i forgot his name but its the marechi that Kyogai took) Tanjiro came a lot later than you say, and for those who dont know what happened and want to know: 2 other demons in what Kyogai says is his home, fought him for the boy, and it went into an all out brawl i guess, and one of the drum things (i forgot what that was called too) came out of him i guess, an when they boy hit it he was transported to a different room pretty much instantaneously. Again sorry for making you read an essay

rengoku was no wherenear to being weak, he just went aganist his worst demon, akaza,who used fighting spirit to his advanatge, and rengoku had lots of it. he was prob out of the hasira 3-5th strongest

Muzan did not kill enmu because Muzan then asked for enmus last words to which he thanked his master for having being able to create so much suffering Muzan decided enmu was worth keeping alive so he can attack the demon slayers and gave him more of his blood making him stronger , promising him more blood if he can kill tanjiro or the hashiras.
