Lumi is the cutest Guinea pig there is. I really hope Lumi lives a long time.
I always loved seeing Lulu. She had a lively Aire to her. She lived a good long life for a guinea pig, I guess about 7 years. I have been watching you since 2018, and have watched the coming and goings of the various piggies. Sylvester, Lulu, Gatsby, and Nugget...Fond memories of them all. Along with my piggies who have joined them.
Zelda looks like me in the morning. She is just poofy little ball of fur. Lulu was a sweetheart, they are never with us long enough.
It breaks my heart that Fitz was confused and teeth chattering when Lulu wasn’t back :( I’m glad she’s doing better

I first got into your videos in 2020. It was a great distraction during Covid and always made me smile.
It's sad to think that of that wonderful heard of Max, Gatsby, Nugget, Lumi and Lulu, only little Lumi is left.
That said, this new heard is so lovely too. Little Zelda is just a gem. Keep doing what you do!
I started following you because of my daughter gifting me her guinea pig but sadly she passed away in April we had 6 wonderful years together
I also started following her when I got my first piggy. He passed away last weekend at 5 yrs old 🥹🥺 So Sorry for your loss as well ~ these little creatures hold such a big place in our hearts.

I love your channel. I came for the cute Guinea pigs, but I also got a lot of good information about Guinea pigs that sadly isn't common knowledge in the US. Pet stores don't even sell proper equipment half the time and even rescues, unless they are guinea pigs specific, don't offer that much information (and that's totally understandable for people who mainly focus on cats and dogs). Watching these videos has helped me better care for my own herd, and has even taught me how to make the tough decisions about when it's time to treat vs let them go. I am glad you got those 2 new babies at just the right time, your family and your herd certainly deserve the joy.
Zelda does look like the brush 😂. Adorable! Poor Fitz losing a best friend is hard but glad you’re all doing better. Losing lulu was definitely a shock. 😢

Zelda's little baby squeaks remind me so much of baby Nugget who was such a chatter box when you first got her!! Too dang cute. Still so heartbroken for you guys losing Lulu so suddenly after so much loss already, but it just feels like adopting Zelda AND Tutu was meant to be even more. I will miss Lulu's quiet elegance and grooming videos though!

About 5 years ago we started keeping indoor guinea pigs (this is also when we found your channel) and yesterday we had to let the first one go I am devastated, She had issues breathing so rushed her to the vet where we started treating her for pneumonia after a week of no improvements we went back and started looking at other options but sadly after the long weekend I called the vet and said "I think it's time to let her go" her breathing got worse to the point she stopped eating, about an hour after we got home the vet called (we asked if they could find the cause) and they said she had a thymoma which is a mass that was pressing on her lungs and heart, I am still struggling with this and really having a hard time can't imagine how you are dealing with this loss these little guys take a huge part of our hearts, we wish you and your family and the rest of the heard a lot of strength.
I am sorry for your loss. 😔We have the same thing not with a guinea pig but with our rabbit. We did treatments for her last year, but it has started to come back, and we have to give her medicine every day. I am not looking forward to the end. I hope she goes peacefully and we not having to let her go.

You know, I can't help but notice that Lulu "decided" to decline and popcorn over the rainbow AFTER the new mommy, Tutu, and new baby, Zelda, were fully welcomed into the herd. It's as if Lulu was holding on until Fitz would have some new Best Friends... RIP Lulu, you and your regal elegance will be greatly missed.
Aww, poor little Fitz, she will be happy again soon with the help of all her little friends. You made the right decision, Lulu had a long and happy life. It was time.

Was so sad losing lulu but it does sound like you had no alternative. Too cruel to put her through anything at her age. Thanks for last video about bedding. We have just received 20 new mats today and they feel really good. They seem quicker to dry and the ones we were using. If the girls like them, we will get the rest of them. They are free roaming so need a lot of mats!
The hardest part of pet ownership is having to let them go. I'm glad everybody is hanging in there. Zelda is so cute, and very much a spitting image of that brush. Lol.

My piggie Frodo is dealing with a faint gas bubble in his tummy. Didn’t want lunch yesterday and I got him into the vet a few hours later. Doing better today. Our little fur babies are so loved and important. He watched this video with me, while I gave him Critical Care.

These cuties have such short lives. We have to love them while we have them and give them the best care. Some of our critter friends do live long. My Jenday Conure is 35, but he is past the usual life span now and is starting to have some neurological issues. But he eats well and is full of sass.

Oh poor Lulu....she must have been in so much pain but we know how easy they hide it 😢 you guys did the right thing and she was getting pretty old. I think you guys gave her the best life and made a loving choice even though it was hard...i hope you guys are doing alright and thanks for keeping us updated❤
My baby boy Oliver too had a tumor we found early on in life that was very small. Eventually it grew bigger. But he had a full, hoping a really good life, as I'm certain lulu did. ❤

After hearing you of all people have such a similar unknown problem makes me feel a lot better. I had to put down my first piggy this past september and i couldnt tell at all until the day of and so many of the issues like low body tempature my baby nova had. Considering the fact your a person that i want to be a lot like with my piggies it makes me much less guilty. Im really sorry for your loss and I'm gonna miss lulu as she was one of my favorites but this video made me feel a little better as i still blame myself 9 mknths later
Comiserations. It's hard to hear this- we lost our Ted and Harry around Christmas. Ted had an eye infection that spread and Harry developed a tumour in his thyroid. Seeing them leave us in such a cruel manner was heartbreaking. We have welcomed Spike and Niblet who are adorable in their own right but it's still.rough.

When we had dogs years ago one loved a squeaky ball and one day I sat up slightly at the table to grab something and he slipped the ball onto the seat just as I sat down. I lost four years off my life thinking I sat on one of my birds!

She had a good long life and we’ll miss her ❤ hearing how the herd reacts makes me sad but it’s great to know the bond they had together. My current young pair is much closer than past groups of pigs so it’s very cute seeing and hearing how they act when separated, feels good to know your fuzzy little family loves their cagemates
The herd looks happy. I have had that experience of observing "loss" among the survivors when a herd member is gone. I suppose it is simply the smells are different which leads the survivors to be somewhat stressed and anxious. I do wonder if this would be the guinea pig's version "mourning period"? I am sure that the antics of the baby (Zelda) is assisting in the herd's return to normal GP behavior.
did you ever think about bringing back the pigs bodies as long as they don't have something contagious, so the others can say goodbye and realise they are passes? It can help them understand and process their grief especially if they didn't realise the other pig was sick

I’ve heard of pet hair being embedded or mixed into resin and used to make jewelry, paperweights or some other art piece. You could also always put a bit of hair into a locket.

Smokey he's 6 and bambino hes 5 and teddy he's 2 years old we always had 4 we had six at one point and then they both had bladder stones and had to be put down I don't know if it's a bad omen or not but every time we get more then the limit we set 1 always dies this has happened to me a few times I hope lulu joins my boys in heaven
