hey luke i live in cairns and have just started watching ur vids, they are great. i go spear fishing sometimes with my dad around frankland islands and oyster reef, if you want to make more spearfishing content consider buying a spear gun, but they are a bit pricy. in your next vid you should try go fishing in firewood creek and hills creek, pretty good fishing there and if your worried about crocks they are here but I've only seen like 2-3m ones and not too many of them. also go check out crystal cascades and stony creek, pretty sick waterfalls. you should also check out barren river and palm cove and the daintree its pretty sick. i love the vids keep up the great work and id love to see you somewhere i sugested.
Just a heads up even though you don't see them often in the cairns inlet there is one 4-4.5m croc that hangs right up the backs of the creeks. I see him fairly often when I go out so I have named him Dave. So if you see him around say hi to Dave for me haha.
oh forgot to say if you go to russle river its hectic with crocs so watch out I've seen a fliped boat there once and I don't want to know what happened to that guy. biggest croc I've seen around here is around 5.7-6m love the vids
Go and get yourself some “berkley katchi katchi” jigs, and a “slow pitch jigging outfit” and maybe some “nomad or gomoku jigs and reef fish between 15-60metera of water using 30-100gram jigs. Best style of fishing around at the moment. And deadly to. Even the “worst fisherman in the world” Will mail a heap of good fish like that. Top videos mate, only thing I don’t like, the way you finish each vid. Spend a minute or so signing off, let us know what’s on next weeks episode ect. Nice video mate. I like how you change things up and try different approaches. You are not doing too much wrong with the crayfish, you seem to be looking in all the underhangs etc. But if they aren't there, you aren't going to be catching any. Like all fishing, most of it comes down to patience. Keep up the great vids Luke. Have you tried fishing off the palm cove Jetty? At certain times of the year, they have abundant live bait. And barra and mackerel have been regularly caught off there along with many other species.
good on ya mate, another local channel I can start watching. If you want to get into spearfishing a bit more I cant recommend aimrite guns enough, they are local to Cairns and a bit on the pricey side but well built and one of the best safety trigger mechs around. If you look after them they will server you well into the future. Keep up the good work.

Sick little video, try swimming along the bottom flatter and lining your shots up perfectly . Spear guns are a lot easier and you can shoot longer distance it’s probably worth investing in one . For the crate looking for big Bombys and even shoot them while your starting of. Good luck and can’t wait for your next video

I love heading to king reef for my crays... usually when u get one theres 2 3 or even 4 more in the same bombie they are hard to get some times though. Even got 2 spanish mackerel on king reef.
can you do only survival on and island for a few days with like a fishing rod and like spear and some other stuff but you have to cacth your own food and get your own water
