Inside a Medieval Castle 🏰🇬🇪 (But I Feel Cheated 😕) | Georgia Travel Vlog (Ep. 3)

I went on a medieval castle tour located in Akhaltsikhe, Georgia and explored for the afternoon.
This castle from the middle ages has been recently renovated, and I must say, it looks quite nice. Sure, I can see that many of the bricks and mortar is rather new, but they still did a pretty good job maintaining the old feel.
But the major problem with this place is the complete lack of information. The only thing they taught me was that it's a castle. That's it. No other history or information was available to the paying public.
The other frustrating part about this medieval castle self-tour was that the entrance fee was significantly higher for foreigners. The cost of doing business should't depend on the ethnicity of a person. But in Georgia, I guess it does.
I hope this gets corrected for the future generations of travelers.

The castle was located in a small town.. far away from other towns. My guess is that they simply don't have many visitors 🤷🏼‍♂️

- There are many locations and elevations.
Winter is definitely cold. It snows in most places...summer is around 80f.
