Hi Ava, thank you for the video... I saw this and really liked it! I hope your health is much improved.
I hope you don't mind if I mention that the patterns on your work surface are a bit distracting, especially if one has an eye condition.
A plain colour would definitely mske your lovely work "pop" more. Thank you for your video ❤❤
Noted! Yeah I realized that when I was reviewing some of my videos. I will fix it as soon as I can
Patchwork tags: I’ve always liked this technique
Love how your dogs are part of your video. Just makes it more relaxed. For me, that really makes a difference.
Yeah those are my babies!! I don’t have grands so I spoil my pups. And believe me they are rotten!!
First time watching you… but when I saw the title I was curious! As a quilter and having made many “Stack -N- Whack quilts I wanted to see how to do it with paper. Well, they are very nice tags! I have made this style before, it was called “Shuffle the Deck” back when I first saw it, but I find it is an interesting technique no matter the name! Thanks for sharing.😊❤
Thanks
I made the same suggestion to Gayle, but only because I kept expecting her to do it in all those variations. 😂
I used up some of my painty papers on this method. I really love it. Tags & pockets are so colorful, plus the colors go together if you want to use two on a page, a tag & a pocket both.
Fun isn’t it? Thanks for sharing

Hi I'm a new sub! I've been watching Gayle and others for a while...so happy you popped up on my screen!
Thank you!! Welcome to my channel! I love Gayle’s channel. She’s the one that got me started in junk journalling. I’m trying to diversify into mixed media and other genres. Hope you enjoy my journey.
Just subscribed! that TOOL!!! Immediately ran to Etsy to favorite it, LOL. Look forward to following you!
Love you videos

Thank you for joining in!
Cool I have been doing this for years but I cut with scissors. It’s actually a required element for this months challenge. We just call them patch work tags originally called them shape shifters but was reprimanded on that one. Great video.
I first saw this technique from @Dearjuliejulie years and years ago, but she cuts instead of tears. I might have to try the tear technique. These turned out cool
pretty
Thank you
Cute
I went to the website looked through each page and couldn’t find the tag tool you used in this tutorial.
Could you maybe be more specific or put a link in the description box? Thanks
You can find it on Spectrum Art Creation’s Etsy

I just found you. Eureka!
lol!!! I didn’t know I was lost!!! lol! This hit my tickle bone!!! I’m glad you found me!!!
You work area is too bus….hard to see white would be better
I have already change it in my other videos
this is absolutely not a stack-n-Wack technique‼️this is often used for pathwork. but can also be used for paper. with large patterns. Working with medium- to large-scale prints, quilters can create dynamic pieced blocks without hours of planning and precision cutting. The kaleidoscope effects occur spontaneously, thanks to the ingeniously simple 'Stack-n-Whack'® cutting technique. By stacking identical repeats of fabric,
Thanks for letting me know but I’m not a quilter but a junk journaler and this was inspired by another junk journaler. But thanks for the info!
I think it is stack 'n whack for junk journals. We aren't so precise as quilters. Maybe we'll have to call it stack 'n glue.
Good content but WAY too long. This should be a short video.
Pretty much all my videos run an hour long. I sometimes will do a short one on instagram.
Many of us enjoy the longer videos.
@@keener57 thank you
@@mybrainymessI too like the longer videos! Tyfs!
I have had a stroke, and the longer videos works better for my slower brain!
