@@xcruzxifyx6210 Also the "R1" branding on the side is lower on the 07 compared to the 04. I have no idea if the fairings are compatible with each other but that would be really cool if they where because I really like the look of the 04 to 06 they look so much cleaner.
@@xcruzxifyx6210 While looking at the fairings I just remember another difference with the 07 to 08 models is the rear swing arm is chunkier and the bike in the video has the chunkier swing arm. Edit I think chunkier is a bad way to describe it the hole in the swing arm is smaller on the 07 to 08 and the part closer to the frame is slightly fatter. Its really hard to describe but like search up a picture of both and it will make sense what I am talking about.

Sounds great 👍. I have a 2005 yamaha R1 with a GYTR exhaust. I might be biased, but I believe the 04-06 yamaha r1 is the best-looking generation.
