Vielen Dank für dein Video, ich habe es gespeichert. Ich habe Kurse bis B1 in einem Goethe-Insitut gemacht und die B1 Prüfung abgegeben, aber ich möchte noch selbst lernen. Deine Quellen werden zwar helfen aber hast du einige Vorschläge, B2 Wörter und Grammatik zu lernen. Goethe hat mir die Deutsch als Fremdsprache Bücher (Netzwerk Neu) von Klett gegeben und sie haben mir gut gefallen. Sollte ich die B2 Bücher kaufen? Wie hattest du dich für diese Prüfung vorbereitet?

Möchtest du die Goethe-Prüfung machen oder eventuell eine andere (TestDaF, DSH)? Möchtest du in Deutschland studieren oder arbeiten, oder lernst du Deutsch einfach für dich selbst? Ich sammle zunächst meine Ideen für dich und werde mich dann wieder hier melden. 💛

Nächster Januar werde ich nach Deutschland fliegen, mein Mastersstudium zu machen (Mein Studium ist auf Englisch aber ich möchte mein Deutsch verbessern, weil ich dort arbeiten und gut leben will). ich finde es super, dass du nach Deutschland kommst und schon fleißig Deutsch lernst! Das wird dir sicher helfen, dich hier schnell einzuleben. 😎
Für die Grammatik kann ich dir noch die „Aspekte“-Bücher empfehlen. Die sind wirklich super und du kannst ab B1+ einsteigen.
Für den Wortschatz sind die Bücher von Hueber echt hilfreich, vor allem die „Wortschatz & Grammatik“-Reihe. Die decken viele Themen ab, die hier wichtig sind, wie zum Beispiel Wohnungssuche. Und wenn du gerne liest, sind Kinderbücher ein super Start
Ich habe selbst Deutsch mit Kinderbüchern gelernt, weil sie einfacher zu verstehen sind. 😄 Danach kann man adaptierte Versionen von Stefan Zweigs „Schachnovelle“ und Kafkas „Metamorphosis“ lesen.
Wenn du die Goethe-Prüfung machen willst, lohnt es sich natürlich, weiterhin gezielt mit dem Goethe-Institut zu lernen. Viele deutsche Unis akzeptieren lieber DSH oder TestDaF als Sprachnachweis, aber da dein Studium auf Englisch ist, spielt es keine große Rolle, welche Prüfung du machst. Hauptsache es macht dir Spaß und bringt dich voran!

I've been studying for almost 2 months for 3-4 hours a day, progressing really quick on duolingo. I still feel like i am somewhere a bit above A1, and this beginning phase is so boring.. when do things start to get more exciting? 😅
3-4 hours a day is very "fleißig"! I'm amazed! 😎 The first months can be a bit boring since you're mainly memorizing and not yet able to fully engage with the language. Things start to get more exciting when you develop a kind of "language intuition." At that point, you'll be able to understand and reproduce way more, and guess the meaning of some words. Duolingo is great abut, of course, to speed up the process you could add more sources into your study plan (including listening to longer texts and writing things down yourself)

Should i still watch german shows and stuff if i only know how to say bread and wine meaning i don’t understand anything?
I would first watch a couple of begiiner lessons, like these czcams.com/video/RuGmc662HDg/video.html and also do a couple of very basic grammar exercises to learn pronouns (ich, du, etc) and get an idea of how german verbs work just to be able to identify them in the sentence. After that I would start with Extra or Nicos Weg show for beginners 🤓
Nico’s Weg haben wir ins Klasse sehen. Es war ok, aber ich denke, es hat viele Worte und danach viele Satzungen für Satz, dass ich nicht habe verstanden. Vielleicht soll ich es wiedersehen

Dein Satz ist fast perfekt! Ich würde nur sagen "im Unterricht" anstatt "in der Klasse" und "viele Sätze" (ohne "Satzungen"). Es ist immer eine gute Idee, die Shows wieder zu sehen, dann verstehst du sicherlich mehr als erstes Mal. Aber ich persönlich wollte immer was neues schauen, da es etwas spanender ist 😄

 i talked to Daad and other scholarship organisations and they told me i should have block account with 11.208€.
if i don’t have enough money to live in peace in Iraq how supposed that i have that’s amount of money.and they need b1 language level! (ich spreche etwas deutsche) my problem is there no one believe that i have so inhumane circumstances and i just need to get out iraqi as soon as possible it’s just the temperature enough to make human mad and crazy it’s 47to 50 degrees and i live without electricity and i told them that i have only some money i can pay for learning language and for traveling cost
as for the embassy i think the employees are Iraqi for that they did not answer me im sorry to talk to you abut my problems i’m just tired from trying go out Iraq looking for freedom and opportunity to be better human

Hey! to boost your listening skills you just have to listen as much as possible (series that I mentioned in the videos, podcasts, German music, etc). For Hören-Exercises I would check out Deutsch für dich www.goethe.de/prj/dfd/d/tutorials/all/next
If you go to Filter > Alle Lerninhalte > Filter Anzeigen > You can pick "Hören" as an activity and B1 as a level. You will the get a bunch on exercises to go through.
If you are preparing for a specific test, make sure to check the preparations for the listening in this very test as well.
