- Amasra is a small Black Sea port town in the Bartın Province, Turkey, formerly known as Amastris. The town today is much appreciated for its beaches and natural setting, which has made tourism the most important activity for its inhabitants. In 2010 the population was 6,500.

Hello, I am from a village that is 20km away to the Amasra and I actually surprised when I saw your video. Amasra is a very peacefull place since not even Turkish locals really go there because the sea is not as good as Mediterranean. Regardless, it is an absolute gem and it is my favourite place in Turkey.
