Wow..Super nice reccomendations. Thank you so much.
Sara, I have been in Thailand for years now, yet I have never seen a store, that actually sells WELLINGTON BOOTS!! Would make perfect sense in the long wet seasons, and a great business for somebody, who has knowledge of what is now a huge fashion accessory in Europe, where the ‘goofy’ designs, patterns and colour, would also be accepted here, for sure! Nice vlog, 🙏🏻🙏🏻
In Thailand right now. 5th visit. Never seen it so green. Rain is no big deal unless you choose to try to drive through flooded spots.
As a pluviophile, I DEFINITELY want to visit Thailand during the rainy season. Bring on the downpours!
Again quite timely!! This is my first Monsoon season in Thailand and was just looking on line for suitable footwear and a ‘monsoon survival strategy’. 😅Thank you!!
Glad we could help, Wilron
Thanks for the info Sara
Very informative. Thank you Sara! 🇹🇭
Our pleasure, Monchai!
Great suggestions. If I may add one more, take a short 1 hour flight from Bangkok south to the islands of Koh Samui, Koh Tao or Koh Phangan for a few months if you have the ability to or are a digital nomad. Weather here has been mostly sunny. When it dies rain, it typically passes within 30 minutes.
That's a great suggestion 🙏 thank you Bryan
Been in Bangkok and Chiang Mai both in June and July and the weather was perfect. It only rain once in Chiang mai.
What do u think in june end this year? Do reply it'll help me alot! 🥂
In the Philippines, most carry umbrellas and use them for the sun as well as the rain. Sun can be very hot on your skin and the umbrella is good portable shade
Almost every Asian country does this
When it start raining hard, immediately seek shelter in the nearest bar or massage shop.....
Forget that, I wanna be outside in the downpour!
Nice useful tips. Now I can try to blend in so I don't look like a tourist in Thailand. 😉Investing in a pair of flip flops is way less expensive than buying snow/ice boots for winters in North America or Europe. Yes, the streets in Bangkok tends to flood during the monsoon season but the water often drains in a few hours, whereas fighting snow and ice covered streets and roads in North America and Europe can last for days or weeks. 🥶😱☹
Glad the tips were helpful, Phillip!
I prefer cheap plastic sandals with Velcro straps, reason they come back up out of the water with your foot and don't float away, and less chance of tripping in them. Flip flops are way too slippery to wear on the Thai shop front Tiles. Additionally step slow and get a foot hold before next step just in case there happens to be a hole or broken pavement.
Just wanted to ask are the visitors allowed go to the beach during the month of August while raining or it’s closed kindly update …If not allowed then big problem
You could go Fishing at AC's Phuket Fishing Park... fish lov the om/off rainy weather...
Cheers from equally very rainy Penang 🇲🇾
Cheers, Albert!

The game of baseball is boring gay and pathetic.

this would be more appropriately titled, what to do in Bangkok during Bangkok's rainy season.
When it rains; grab a few beers. Sabai Sabai 🍺🍺
Beers on a rainy day 🍺🌧
alcohol is unhealthy, destroys your liver, makes your belly fat, destroy the brain, impacts memory, makes you soft in bed, and.... makes your body older faster.

"Rain only lasts a few hours and then the sunshine comes back"
That is not my experience of rainy season in Thailand, at all. It's more like a myth that Thai people like to promote to foreigners. Maybe in June it's like that, but I was there in October for 3 weeks and there was sunshine for a few hours in the morning, then torrential rain ALL DAY, 98% of the days.
@MAGICMARS If you can, I'd say go in December or January. It's in the "cool" season, although cool is a relative term. It's still hot. It can still rain a little bit, but it's mostly sunny and dry.
@MAGICMARS September and October are usually the rainiest months of the rainy season. When I was there in October, the weather was like this: 2 to 3 hours of sunshine in the morning (on a good day!) then heavy rain the rest of the day! It was like that in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Chang, Koh Kood. I will never go to Thailand again in September or October. Just December to May :)
@@MVUK358 Hello...do you suggest to go in May 23-28 to krabi/phiphi? any suggestion about how bad it wilk fain asper your experience.
👍👍

I think the water in the streets isn't clean during a flood, so it's not healthy stay with naked foot without boots in there.
the dirty water will get into your shoes anyway so it's the same lol
May-October thats half a year. At this point its the countrys climate.
the rainy season, it's no fun..
A lot would agree with your sentiment
Love the rainy 🌂⛈☔️🌧🌧⛈🌈 season in Thailand!

This is big city only not helpful for most tourists
Helpful for a good majority of visitors who tend to go to for the tourist areas in Thailand
The challenge is what lovely Thaiger would you prefer to have a hypothetical long term relationship with? I'm 50/50 Natie/Sara
For all you guys who like ladyboys.. Who would you think would you choose if you had to pick between
Tim, Jay, or Jet..? It's a tough one.. Jet would be the prettiest but he's the most masculine also.. so??
