I know Meg gets a ton of props for having such an insane vocal style on her lap steel - which is amazing. Rebecca doesn't get enough props, in my opinion, for her guitar playing. Her timing - her feel - her style - isn't all pretty nuts. They're obviously both so incredible, thats why we love them because of how they compliment one another so effortlessly
Y'all just broke my heart with that stripped back version of Mad As A Hatter... It's such a brilliant piece of music and I love the full version of it, but this just tore into my soul. You two are incredible. Simply brilliant.
Went back and re-listened to Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter EP's after watching this. You really need to find a way to reissue these! Apart from being fantastic in their own right - they're a great reflection of the transition from early Larkin Poe to where you are now!!
Great show! I especially enjoyed "Principle of Silver Lining". I really love the early EPs, and I'm sure a lot of people would love them, too. So far I could only get a hold of "Spring" and "Winter" and have been looking everywhere for the remaining two. Those early recordings sound great, there's no need to remix or remaster them; just reissue those EPs or put all four of them on a double CD. If you can't find the files anymore, you can rip the wav files off the CDs! Anyway, stay safe & keep going!
Yeah rip a CD or LP and call it the official bootleg editions. Not perfect quality recordings can't stop good songs. Springsteen proved it with "Nebraska", an album recorded on a 4 track cassette. The old Stooges stuff are kind of cool, because the recording and mixing are really weird. It's true rock'n'roll. 😀

For those people having volume problems with the live stream I get the CZcams app up on my TV and play the sound through my HiFi system, BOOOM make the walls shake people!
There's nothing annoying about hearing someone yell Freebird. If you think so it's because you were not there to witness it. We saw Lynyrd Skynyrd open for Eric Clapton at the Memphis Memorial Stadium in 1974. Back when Clapton was god. My friends and I were all in high school. All we cared about were guitars and girls, in that order. Getting to see Clapton play was a HUGE HUGE deal. So they introduce Lynyrd Skynyrd and the crowd of 50,000 people just sat there because nobody had really heard of them at that time. They had their first album out. Song by song they won the crowd over. No one could believe how good these guys were. Everybody in that stadium was up and yellin their asses off. Then they played Freebird. It went thru that stadium like a freight train. I swear to god when Clapton walked on that stage half the crowd was STILL yelling Skynyrd...Skynyrd..Skynyrd. We all felt sorry for Clapton. Ive never seen anything like it before or since. Trust me I'm not saying this because I'm a Skynyrd fan, I'm saying this because it made me a Skynyrd fan. Us and 50,000 other people. Google.. '' Lynyrd Skynyrd singes god's beard in Memphis'', and that's a British article. Sad to think that band was only on the national stage 3 1/2 years before the plane crash. So it does not annoy me when I hear someone yell FREEBIRD, it puts a smile on my face and I think Hell Yeah.. forty years later and people are still yelling Freebird. Ya'lls livestream rocked.. I love you girls stuff. I turn as many people on to Larkin Poe as I can
