South Korea is 5th most powerful military in the world( more powerful than Japan) and all men are required to join the military so they are strong, diciplined and know how to fight and defend!
Men of all nations of freedom or communist who are educated respect Korean men because they understand the Korean history from ancient times to vietnam war!
Most of you don't even know South Korean military was the 2nd largest after USA in Vietnam war. South Korean military was the most feared and vietcongs avoided battles with Koreans because they knew they would get demolished!
"I can keep going!" Korean people have a lot to be proud about which many of you are not even aware of!
I think both Japanese and Koreans gravitate towards each other because they look similar and are very close neighbors.

I think Japan and Korea are far and nearest people, even though mixed feelings exist between the two . In racial + modern time values, the two are closest, and statistics proved that international marriage between two countries is very high
I think the media is evil. Therefore, we Japanese must receive information appropriately.

Fun Fact) Even during the Japanese colonization, the number of Korean men marrying Japanese women was much higher than Japanese men marrying Korean women.
And even in 2024, the most common foreign man married by Japanese women is a Korean.
Watching Korean-Japanese couples married to Japanese women on CZcams, almost all Korean men fantasize about Japanese women. They are humble, polite, friendly, and above all, their 愛嬌 with a smile gently melts Korean men. Japanese women are No.1 all of the world.

I am a Korean guy. but I still doubt about these results. Are you 100% sure that you did not edit interviews? Actually, all men and women are attracted by people who are sharing similar cultural background, language, looking, and other similities.... it was scientifically proven. If the question wording from 'love' is changed to "want to get married'" I am sure the results will be totally different.
Don't believe it,.., I'm most strongly attracted to those who are nearly my total opposite..., And know many who feel the same.

It's all about soft power and media image. American movies, etc., but now Koreans are the masters of soft power with K-pop and dramas. Very little from Chinese media has attracted the interest of Japanese or North Americans for that matter. Who's the bigger singing star in China? I don't know and nobody else I know knows unless they're Chinese. That's pretty bad!

There are more japanese tourist in south korea than korean tourist in japan post covid stats. The number one country japanese visit last year was korea then usa then Taiwan. Meanwhile most country visited by koreans is vietnam then usa then Japan.
Before 10 years ago, korean popularity in japan was probably close to China. And 30 years ago, Zainichi ethnic koreans 4th generation japanese were not allowed japanese citizenship even if both their grandparents, parents and great grandparents were born in japan and never been to korea.
Attitudes started to change in early 2000s, 1 because internet, 2 korea had a ban on Japanese media until 2003. They didn't want influence from their old colonial masters who tried to make them japanese. But 1997 asian financial crisis caused economy of korea to reform and open. And thus korea started exporting kpop and kdrama. So korea had to allow japanese media in and korean media was allowed on japanese TV.
Winter sonata was the start. First korean TV show that was subbed that played on nhk. Korean media just continue to grow since then.

@@interviewsaroundtheworld8467 The Netherlands! Japan used to have a special bond with NL because it was the only European country it still had contact with. That was in the 17th century I believe.
@@babblingalong7689 The Netherlands is one of the special countries for us Japanese. And I love Dutch people. Many Dutch people have responded to my interviews so far. They were all very friendly and helpful people. Someday I would like to do an interview in the Netherlands☺

Koreans also love Japanese people and Japanese culture.
In Korea, many Japanese animations are shown on TV and there are many Japanese restaurants on the streets.
And as anyone who has served in the military knows, South Korea and Japan are very close to each other in terms of security.
The reason why South Korea focused on the army and Japan focused on the navy was because each side assumed that they would help each other. (It is like a type of military union where each side compensates for each other's weaknesses.)
In fact, countries that are this close culturally, security-wise, and economically to eachothers are rare on earth.
If we look at it objectively, South Korea and Japan have a very close and special relationship. (But unfortunately, the media sometimes creates misunderstandings between us sadly haha)
We must be careful about information from the media. As a Japanese citizen, I would like to continue building friendly relations with South Korea👍

In France in the cities if a woman, or group of women are walking down the street by themselves, the French men will whistle at her/them. Also, taking showers every day is optional in France. Instead of taking a shower they will just try to cover up their odor with perfume but you smell the odor and the perfume.
The one who whistle at women in the streets are not french but arabs and blacks.
