  • Roast pork, stewed cabbage and potato dumplings is authentic czech national dish. In Czech the food is called "Vepřové výpečky se zelím a bramborovým knedlíkem". The taste is very delicious, the dish contains tender pork bites with sweet and sour steamed cabbage (sauerkraut) and potato dumplings. Almost everyone in Czech republic love this food. Similar food loves also in Germany and Austria.
    INGREDIENTS FOR ROAST PORK
    1 kg pork neck or mix with belly
    2 white onions
    6 cloves of garlic
    a teaspoon of ground carraway seeds
    freshly ground pepper
    salt
    beer to drink
    INGREDIENTS FOR STEWED CABBAGE
    1 glass of sterilized cabbage
    1 teaspoon of ground cumin
    1-2 tablespoons of lard (if possible, oil)
    50-70 g of bacon
    1 white onion
    1 tablespoon plain flour
    sugar, vinegar to taste
    salt to taste
