I won't withhold the fact that I got choked up when I heard the Battle Hymn in the pre-game considering where it was and what was going to happen. I still cry over the 2021 title though we won in 2022, as well because that was the first one I ever saw with the Dawgs. That's all I ever wanted to see was them win a title once in my life (I wasn't alive in 1980). Go Dawgs.
I am not a huge fan of college football, but I do like the ESPN megacasts. They should do this more often with select CFB games and other sports on ESPN throughout the season.
We've been playing Glory Glory since we started playing football in 1892. I let the United fans know all the time as I live in Manchester whilst their version of our fight song was made in 1982. So we've been doing it nearly a century before anyone had any idea of what Glory Glory or the Battle Hymn of the Republic was, which the fight song was based on. As our brother illuminated, the present form was arranged in 1915 by Hugh Hodgson. We also don't have just the Battle Hymn of the Bulldog Nation (1987) but actually have four versions of Glory, Glory (with the Angel Tag, the Charge, Glory, Glory on its own, and with Hail to Georgia). I have no problem telling the Spurs and Leeds United fans too since every one wants to copy the Red and Black, it seems. Leeds United actually attempted to emulate our fight song first 30 years prior to Manchester United which is a hurtful note for the rivalry though United is unparalleled with what it has achieved on the pitch. Nevertheless, I don't blame anyone for trying to borrow Glory, Glory as no one does it like the Dawgs.
@@mitchschwark5327 exactly and I am in marching band and damn well its hard and with covid it makes it even harder and you can see visibly in the pregame that there were spaces in it, also a clarinet and really want to be apart of the redcoat band one day
