As a guy who carrys everywhere I can legally, I often travel with a Commander size 1911, (2) spare mags - 3 total, a tactical folder, and 25 rnds of Hornady TAP in .45 ACP. It looks like it would fit nicely in that case and those American locks look like they were purpose designed for that case. Thanks for the information. Ken

@user-xb8tb1xv2u I think you can get a cable through the locks no problem, if I am understanding what you want to do right. The problem I see with it is, if someone cut the locks then I think the cable might be loose enough to slide right off the side of the case and not provide any deterrence to opening the case.

Yes that helped, I want to secure the case with a 5/16 loop cable. Or do you think just go with 1/4 loop cable to be safe?
