I agree. It looks like it perfectly captures the feel of 1980s police thrillers set in cities like LA and NYC. Let's just hope this comes out long before GTA6 because no game will be able to compete with that when it launches.
If it were that simple more studios would do it. None of them can pull it off or come even close to what Rockstar produces. Ubisoft is just utter trash

I remember playing GTA4 LCPDFR. I like how indie devs are taking small ideas/mods implemented in previous titles and turning it into a full gameplay experience.
It would be nice to stylize the lighting or add a little noise so it doesn’t look so flat. And it’s even better to make it look like everything was shot through an anamorphic lens with glare.

They devs have confirmed that you can commandeer vehicles. I'm not sure exactly how it will work, but it is in the game. They've also said that the character places a siren on top of the car's roof automatically when they get in which is also a cool little touch!
Here’s a fun idea: an online edition which is compatible with GTA. So you can either be a criminal or one of the police who are after them and every character is controlled by a real person Maybe that’s already in the works?

The devs have said that a lot of what is shown here isn't optimised. It will be more stable at release.
Would be epic if you were able to progress onto detective etc. and solve other cases
