Packing for a Day at Disney World: What I Bring to an Amusement Park

- I filmed a couple of videos while we were at Disney World. In this video I show the bag I bring to the parks with me, a Lululemon "Travel Pooch" (it is called a pooch instead of a pouch because it was designed for dog walking). Although they don't appear to be carrying it on their website currently that doesn't mean they won't bring the bag back. I've seen it in different variations every summer for the past few years. I'm sorry that the video quality is not as sharp as usual. I didn't bring my video camera on my trip and was using my little point & shoot to film. I hope you enjoy the video, nonetheless. It's so cute how you just use your "Disney" stuff when you're at Disney world 'cause usually what you buy there looks neat around all the Disney stuff but once you're home doesn't fit into your usual style!

Fanny Packs are a great idea for an amusement park/ disney world type setting. When I went, I used a small leather backpack big enough to hold my necessities and a standard size reusable water bottle. I never had to take it off for a ride, it didn't weigh me down, and was not uncomfortable or in the way.
I would suggest that if you are planning on packing a small lunch (ex: peanut butter crackers, granola bar, water bottle, fruit snacks) or just need a little extra room for your necessities.
Extremely well thought out and amazing at the quantity of items that you are able to fit into that cute little bag.
Love your videos thank you they really help me thinking on how I should get my family things done for my trip.
Omg I could not go to any Disney park without wipes and tylenol or advil. That is a must!

Thank you so much for these videos! It's my boyfriend and my first trip together to Disney world next week and i'm doing all the planning but when it's just me trying to figure out what's important to bring to organize everything, it's a little difficult. You're videos are an amazing help for that!
I always wear a "fanny pack" at an amusement park. For a lot of rides (for example roller coasters), they won't let you bring a purse on -- but a fanny pack will work and will "hide" under a sweatshirt. Things in a fanny pack won't fly up out of a pocket and be lost (the g-forces on some coasters will pull a cell phone out of one's pocket!). I wouldn't wear one anywhere else, but it's a lot smarter than renting a locker and having to go back and forth to one all day (such a pain!).

This was absolutely the best Disney tip. I saw this video on Thursday this week and received my "pooch" on Saturday. I do wish that the lululemon bag on sale now had zippers on all outside pockets; however, I still like the bag. Without a zipper, the pocket closest to the body is rendered useless for an amusement park.

Kipling makes a nice flat waist pack. You can even wear it under a coat in winter.

Why bring detergent when hotel shampoo works fine to hand wash duds. We hang slacks/skirts on the thin, flocked rod, shirts/dress items overtop & slip on a dry cleaner bag. Can't explain but prevents wrinkling. Did you actually use/wear everything? Our rule: if you didn't use it leave it at home next trip! Didn't you go shopping in Orlando?
