Lucy changed the future so she did not have to go into the future and didn’t let happen what happened to future lucy, so she lived. If the other lucy would have died instead of future lucy then the both of them would have died there since you can’t change the past yknow what i mean? I hope i helped you understand lmao (idk if that made sense i hope so)
