Also that was a great point about the Volleyball move, never considered how bad that technique would really mess up a normal body
Freiza used a version of the volleyball technique against Goku on Namek. It was kind of a dead-man switch technique, too because Freiza said that if his energy ball (with Goku inside at the time) touched anything but him, it would explode.
I think children creating a technique meant to capture your opponents is amazing. Your average kid wouldn’t create such a smart technique, they would create something with a lot of power. Very smart.
I suppose Buu bit off more than he could chew when dealing with the Galactic Donut 🍩

Gotenks was one of my favorites growing up and still is. I loved/love his moveset.

Hmm actually, if I remember correctly, Super Buu Gotenks absorbed used a donut volley against Gohan during their battle, which was followed by a Kamehameha wave. I think that is the move where xenoverse 2 got it from.
Majin Vegeta actually used it first when he was fighting against Goku.
Really informative stuff Geekdom, i really enjoyed that. It's still surprising Gotenks hasn't really been part of Super. If he had I wonder if we would get anymore whacky moves 🤔🤔

Finally another video from Geekdom101 another classic.
The move seems very similar to Ultraman's Catch Rings. He spins around and creates energy rings that wrap around his opponent to restrain them. Toriyama is a fan of Ultraman, so I wonder if that inspired him.
2:01 Gohan pretty much creates The Galactic Donut and throws it on him like that ring carnival game, where are you throw these rings over a milk bottle or something and win.
to be fair, him and piccolo arguing before reluctantly doing the move probably ate up nearly as much time as the move itself

Galactic Donuts would've been super helpful in the TOP! Imagine restraining a dozen opponents, they can't move, and you just throw them off the stage. That's what I call efficient elimination!
They didnt enter gotenks in the tournament because he " lacks tournament experience"... what ?
@@benevolencev7204 Yeah, that excuse was about as BS as Buu falling asleep and the Z-fighters being somehow unable to wake him in any manner. As much as I love Gotenks, the bigger issue is that his fusion only lasts half the tournament, and from what we saw, it's better to stay in the ring at any cost than starting out guns a'blazing. Not sure how much time the boys would need to recharge, too. Still would've been more effective than most of the U7 cast...
Budokai 3 had the best version of the GDs. That crazy kamehameha right after was just 🔥🔥🔥

Majin Vegeta does something similar to goku when they fought before buu was released. Energy restraints however his was only focused on legs, arms and neck.
Didn’t Vegtia do this to Goku as well prior to Boo being released in there SSJ 2 fight (epic) or was that something different ?

The move is Deadly I used it in the game is deadly at the right angle and at the right time.
He used the volly in the anime too when him and piccolo were playing volleyball with buu

If someone really powerful used this on someone, sealed them up in a ball. They could easily seal them up in the mafuba. Since they can't move to doge it. They just have to make the ball big enough for the other person to be in.
This Is why I love gotenks his moveset is just crazy lol I just wish he had more time fighting and to make him a serious character the comedic relief can still be there but we need like a arc where the z fighters protect earth just one arc or hell maybe 3 episodes
That is why the technique is deadly can paralyze you when your opponent is just getting ready for the final blow you pull out this puppy.

Maybe that attack uses “mass shifting” like how when buu absorbs people 🤔. Or like Megatron or soundwave in transformers, how when Megatron would turn into a gun or sound wave will turn into his audio cassette form, they change size, because when buu absorbs people they don’t die but they do condense down into a smaller shape
So they probably wouldn’t die
Or it may be like the Evil containment wave

I always wondered why didn't Gotenks just use a Gigantic Ki blast and completely engulfed the ball he trapped Buu in. Since, they had him completely immobilized in a small size you'd think they'd have a decent chance of insinuating him.

Was this not the move Vegeta used against Goku in their SSJ2 fight? Where he bound his wrists and ankles and pinned him to the wall? If not, what move was that?
