Always a favourite! Typically, for this kind of pepper 'roast', finely sliced garlic and tomato is also added along with the onions to bring in a nice mush and flavour to the gravy.
I made it exactly like your recipe.. only change was omlette chunks and added sautéed green spring onions & capsicum. Simply awesome and easy.. Thank you to YFL.

Very nicely shown tempting dish. This is a fairly common and popular dish in the south. We make pepper chicken or mutton also with same masala. These are made as side dishes with biriyani, and go well with Ragi balls, chapathi or pooris. I make the masala powder by roasting pepper, Jeera, saunf, curry leaves cinnamon, clove and little methi seeds. Then we don5 add any Garam masala powder. Makes mouth watering dish.
I tried the masala with jeera, sauf and kaali mirch. And other with onion and black pepper. Without jeera and sauf, it tastes better, gives better punch of pepper

Seems like chettinad preparation.
I tried the masala with jeera, sauf and kaali mirch. And other with onion and black pepper. Without jeera and sauf, it tastes better, gives better punch of pepper
