If someone is annoyed by my audio scrubbing they don't deserve to be near me 😅
HAHAHA someone woke up and chose violence today. I love it
@@lilafromyoutube Like they say, violence starts at home!
Hahaha
Hahahahahahahahahaha 😂🎉
I love the sound of scrubbing in the morning … sounds like… big bucks.
I've been using Premiere for 8 years now and this is the one video amongst the hundreds of "tips" videos on YT that was actually incredibly useful lol
Haha I’m so glad!
Thank you so very much, Lila. I've been using Premiere for the past twelve years and you have shown me that there is always something new to learn when using this amazing tool. Your tips are life savers...not to mention time savers. You have a huge fan of your work here in Boston..
Thank you! It’s really cool to hear I’m able to share some unknown nuggets to a veteran like yourself!
I'll try out the track club platform and see how much can be done.
Such a life saver
i've been using it for a little while now and I love that I can simply mute one instrument if I don't like it. I did that a couple of times for the songs in this video too. I hope you'll like it!
@@lilafromyoutube wow.
I really love it
I tried using my debit card but it's been declined. I'll try another.
I really love the feature and thanks for introducing it to us
Thanks for trying us out! Have fun creating 🎶
I love your Adobe videos. So well done and informative!
Thanks for this information... would surely gonna apply this tricks
Nice, thank you Lila
Great tips here. I never use the essential sound panned but I really need to. Q and w are awesome. Close gaps!!!
Working with music is fantastic! I spend a lot of time to make this rutine work manually. You've saved my time. Thanks you a lot, and good luck!
That last tip! Ty! Lila you still the best ❤️
Very useful tips indeed! Thanks :)
Thanks lila❤
Thank you! These tips are super helpful!!!
So glad!
Awesome tips!
The mask sizing tip... 🤯 I've always hated working with masks because of that! Q&W all day for me. A huge time saver!
I always learn something watching your videos, Lila. Great job!
HAHA dude same 😂 I got so annoyed before learning that trick. I used guides and everything to try to straighten the mask but now… boom done
lot of value!!!! Subbed
Thanks for this useful info... Just started learning Pro. Greetings from Amsterdam!
Your videos are very useful and inspiring, thanks for creating them! I'm planning to do similar sorts of videos but for a different piece of software and was wondering what you use to capture your screen and show what you're doing in Premiere Pro? Thanks!
Wow u are now my great teacher.....I have been looking for that thing..... thnx alot
Wow! Lila, this is just crazy!!!
Thanks so much for all these short cuts and this is gonna make life more easier.
Yaaay!! What was your favourite one?
@@lilafromyoutube The close gap trick actually got me
Hey
I'm using ctrl K for cuts and bins for different audio, video and graphics footage. The motion tracking in aspect ratio changing was very helpful. Thanks
I've already implemented some of these tips in editing today and wow. These are priceless. Thanks so much for your work!
That’s amazing! So happy to hear that 🥳
Some of the tips are jus super ausome.thanks alot for this
Glad you like them!
These are lifesaver!!!!
Woop!!
I recently upgraded from Elements, in which I was fairly comfortable using, while not being familiar with a portion of it's capabilities, to Premier Pro, so I'm pretty noob-ish, only got about 3 small projects with PP under my belt. Despite coming here for a different solution ( choices to handle 9x16 phone footage letter boxes) The close gaps, and the Q/W snipping shortcuts were worth it!! Those two tips alone will save me loads of time!!! The other tips will too, but some not yet, what is Nesting or to Nest, and what is masking? Great video thanks so much!!
Great stuff Lila, I really got a lot out of this tutorial. I'll be watching for more.
That’s great to hear!
you really save most of my time and thanks alot
Thanks for the tips. As a newbie editor your videos are invaluable. As for sortcuts, I struggle remebering them..... so I built a mackie control surface from scratch to help me.
It has saved me a TON of time, plus givien me another bit of expeince in my given YT niche, Making 😉
That’s great to hear! I used an editing keyboard for a long time which is just a massive cheat sheet for shortcuts haha geni.us/editingkeyboard
OMG this cutting method really blew my mind
I paused an edit to watch a few videos and the first tip, about the masks, just saved my day. Thanks!
So much great info in this video
my mvp!
Fireeee video!
This has been a massive life & time saver. THANKYOU!!!!
You’re so welcome!!! What tip was most helpful? 😊
I, and my channel are new to CZcams. After using many platforms, I have finally just started to use premier pro. It is absolutely amazing. Your videos are great for people like myself, who have literally no experience in this subject. Thank you 🙏
So glad to hear this video is helpful for you. Enjoy your CZcams journey! It’s a lot of fun
Great tips, these really helped me speed up my editing 😁
Brilliant!
MIND BLOWN
Boom! Which one blew your mind the most?
This is gold. Subscribed.
Nice to meet you 🙏🏻
Hello Lila
Thank you so much for each video you posted.. so good all
I have a question about the tags in the multicamera> I would like to know if the colors of the tag placed in the original videos can automatically pass to the final edition sequence. This would be useful because when mixing the cameras, the color of the camera to which that shot belongs would be placed, and they would be identified faster, giving order and color to the edition. Is this possible?
This is some high quality information! Thanks for this
🙏🏻 thanks
You're a queen! ❤❤
No you!
wow each and every one of those was game changing for me! Thank you so much and keep up the good work!
Thank you! Will do! If you want more tips... I got a new one for ya czcams.com/video/ACgBYpuMFrM/video.html
I love how I get to learn almost 20 new things in just one video. Thanks Lila
Haha welcome!
Some great tips in here that i never knew about.I did alot of this stuff manually lol. Thanks for making my life easier
Happy to help!
Very informative video 👍
Thank you very much.
This is one of the best videos I've seen on this subject. Lots of info in no other videos I've clicked on so far. Great timesavers, thank you!
Thanks so much! Any favourites?
Best Video I have ever came across of Tips 7 tricks. Thank you🔥
🙏🏻
Well thank you for your amazing tutorials, i learned a lot of things i didn’t know 🎉
I’m happy to hear that 🙌🏻
so many good tips here! Thanks Lila! 😸
You're so welcome! What’s the one (or multiple) that stood out the most??
the scene edit detection thing. I'm finally trying to embrace shorts. Of course the scrub thingy too, but I turned that off long ago haha
Ha smart! I hope they’ll add silence/breath detection soon :)
Thanks
Good stuff! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!! Did any tip stand out the most to you?
@@lilafromyoutube the very first one. Audio ducking.
Very helpful thanks
Happy to hear that! What’s your favourite tip??
All are my favourite but some are i already know.
The automated Transcription from Adobe Premiere was an eye opener! You saved me hours of writing ♥
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
After hundreds of tutorials I’ve learned something new. The masking resizing tip blew my mind, thanks!!!
Right? It is saving me a ton of frustration lol
Sheesh, always banger content. Lol, love the edit btw. You keep getting better and better. Also, that Master adjustment to all audio clips wow, game changer for me. Thank you, Lila!!!! You’re the best.
I’m so glad you got value out of this vid 🎉
Duck against dialog - this will save me so much time, as well as cutting with Q and W. Thank you Lila!
You’re welcome! I’m so glad these tips helped you out!
Awesome 😁
Amazing!
Thank yaaaa
Way more useful stuff here than I expected. Definitely will be back to this video again later.
Haha thanks! I have two more videos like this one actually if you wanna get more tips like these. Here’s one: czcams.com/video/iwyxTXyTa2Q/video.html
This was an absolutely incredible video! I'm actually very very grateful for these tips!
🙏🏻🙏🏻 what’s your favourite tip?
very helpful video and for your question of (cutting) I use C to select the Cutting tool
If you change C to add edit, you’ll save so much time! It’s basically ctrl+k but just one key
this is useful thank you darling
omg!!! 😱 Mind blown!!! What a great video thank you!!!!
Yay!!! Hope you check out the other 10 tips video because those tips blew my mind in my career too hahah.
whoa these are truly all game changers
hey dude! good to see you again :)
Your video quality is really impressive, like your dept video.
Thanks! What was the most helpful tip?
thank you
Can I ask what do you do when try to playback audio in premiere?
I mean, I use the "biblioteca" to navigate trough all my audio files, but they are increíble high on volumen, I don't know how to preview with a lower volumen.
Thanks!!!
You look so softy. good input you have given !
Learned some new stuff again, hero!🔥
🙌🏻 awesome! What was the biggest takeaway?
@@lilafromyoutube Close gaps! Mind blowing🤯
Thanks Lila!
Thanks for watching! What’s your favourite tip?
@@lilafromyoutube The close gaps trick 👍
Awesome!
I used to do the interpret footage tip but Premiere didn't carry over that over to any proxies I created. Now I simply do the rate change (ctrl/Cmd+R) in the project bin on the source clips directly before bringing them into a timeline and that seems to work everything out just fine with proxies.
Glad you found a way that works for you
@@lilafromyoutube personally I like the way you do it better! Adobe just must have screwed something up during some update and felt they had better things to do lol
I almost lost my mind trying to figure out why interpreting footage wouldn't work with proxies. I've been doing it manually in the timeline but your method is way better! Cmd+R on the source clips is a great idea. Thanks for sharing!
@@alex.mcintosh happy to hear I could help! I was frustrated awhile back by this too but luckily found a video on it specifically eventually. Its so specific it can be hard to search sometimes so thats awesome to see you found my comment and it could help!
Thank you for this, very helpful especially for me as I am a beginner! I always use the Razor Blade for cutting my video, I am sure there is a much better way to do this. will keep an eye out for you videos which are always great and helpful. Much appreciated!
Might make a video about cutting techniques as there’s a lot of time to save with these
@@lilafromyoutube Looking forward to that video🙏
I personally use the shortcut E for cutting clips. Can quickly breeze through the first pass with the ripple trim
Great video!
Great tip!
you can also chose all the files you want to slowdown in project folder and change speed with Ctrl + R in 1 second
May I ask what do you use to record your screen? Quicktime or a third-part application like ScreenFlow?
Obs
Unchecking "Play Audio While Scrubbing" is fine and dandy but what if you doing audio cuts? You need that on while using precise editing while using the arrow keys. And, there is a quick key for that. Mac = Shift + S.
Omg! The mask!! 😱 thanks Lila 🙏
HAHA right???
Recently found your channel, really enjoy the Premiere Quick Tips : )
Looks like you're having a lot of fun while doing a lot of work!
P.S. Love the bangs - so beautiful.

I hope you’ll enjoy the platform! I’ve been having some fun. It’s so nice working with stems, especially when they’re as detailed as Trackclub
00:32 this tip is gold.

lol i'm not frustrated at all actually
Amazing 🤩
Thanks 🤗 what tip was most helpful to you?
@@lilafromyoutube Resizing the mask proportionally and Closing the gaps
These tips are AMAZING! And yes, the audio reduction while scrubbing quite possibly did save my marriage!
I am a professional video editor and i didn't knew some of these tricks 😅 thank you so much & i just have one question. Is there a shortcut for trim from one side for one selected clip.. like trim from left or right for selected clip only. Like after effects has alt+[, ].
Yeah that’s the Q and W that i mention in the video.
Brilliant!
🙌🏻🙌🏻 any tip that stood out to you?
@@lilafromyoutube There were a few, actually. Masking (I know I'm not the first to single that one out :) ), also the loudness Auto-Match (That's going to come in handy)
I used auto match today :) so handy
Man i gotta download the new version. I thought whats huge gonna improve.
nice❤❤❤
