about 3 hours ago I was talking about fishing with some snowbirds as I live full time in Pinellas. I mentioned your YT channel if they wanted to learn how to do sushi and I said "It's great info about how to make sushi with these local fish. He hasn't posted any YT vids lately but it's still relevant." Then, boom, you upload.

Have you ever made a video on how to make sushi from Costco o Sam's Salmon or tuna? New to your channel and this is the first video I see. Great content. Greetings from Mexico.

Love your channel and learned so much from you. My family and I love sushi. Will freezing fish for several days kill parasites? Thank you for making such educational videos!

Been too long but nice to see you’re putting out new content. Can’t wait to see what you’re going to put out next. Also, I just watched outdoor chef life made sushi with mahi-mahi. Do you think you can make a nigiri video on that fish?

Awesome to see some new content from you. You're videos motivated me to finally try to make sushi at home. I'm not good at it by any stretch of the imagination but I'm better than I was because of you're excellent videos.

Thanks for checking back - it’s just practice, glad it’s helpful. What type of sushi are you making?

@@SushiWithDan IDK what it's called. I usually make it with cucumber, green onions, carrots and some type of fresh fish rolled in short grain rice and a nori sheet. So far I have tried red snapper, amberjack, salmon(store bought), shrimp, imitation crab and yellowfin tuna. The fresh tna wins, hands down.

Is it safe to make sashimi from costco fresh fish? What is the difference between that and the fish at a market labeled sashimi grade? Thank you! Great and informative content!

Someone told me they’ve seen frozen salmon labeled for sushi in a Sams Club before, not sure if it’s still around. I’ve seen other CZcamsrs make sushi from fresh salmon at Costco, but if you’re going to do that, try the farmed fish rather than wild. Wild salmon are known to carry parasites.

@@SushiWithDan I don't do anything to the fish. I have a slave sushi chef that does everything for me.
