So glad to see Steve back on stage. I hope things are in a manageable place with his wife. Full on heart goes out to her and him FC!
My thoughts exactly
and no brace on left hand, That's good.
Hear, hear!
Bless Steve and his family.🙏
Joe is an encyclopedia of blues licks.
for real... hahaaha
All were amazing!! Great to see Steve Morse back!! I have to admit Eric Gales phrasing and note selections are really next level!! Holy F$$$$%k! In a great way!.
Yeah!
Big shout out to the drums and bass and keys .. Fantastic at holding down that groove.
Steve Morris is genuinely enjoying Eric’s playing.
Morse
@@werbeboard Ian Gillan played with both Steve Morris and Steve Morse, and he used to get the names mixed up too.
Steve Morris is a bad ass on guitar, too. His work on Gillan’s ToolBox record was out of this world good. Morse has never played a bum note in his life and is a super nice dude, too.
Morse......
We need more videos of Steve Morse from this event! 😀🤘🎸
we need more videos of Steve Morse playing EVERYTHING because also if he rings the home bell, he rings it BETTER than everyone!!!
Emotional playing by Satch. Tone of the gods.
I know he’s respected, but I have never liked Satch’s tone or playing. Same with Vai. They may have great theory/skill, but their music does nothing for me. I prefer melodic players that use the guitar like a vocal instrument. But that’s just me.
@Claudio Perfetti i think you just heard jams from them...listen to songs from Joe like Cryin, Rubina, Until we say goodbye and Steve's whispering a prayer, Tender Surrender, And we are one. But yes i completely get it when you say you dont resonate with their music. I cant listen to SRV and Jimi for long. To each their own.
@@p-Claud73 "I prefer melodic players that use the guitar like a vocal instrument." you're describing Satch lmao
@@p-Claud73You literally just described Satchs playing to the T yet claiming that’s not the way he plays! 😝 Maybe listen closer.
Satriani really rocks🎸🎸🎸
I’ve seen Gales twice. What a frriggin show.
Great to see Mr. Morse again, looking like he's having a great time. Three just fantastic guitarists, Kenny Aronoff (awesome as usual) and the rest of the band.
Joe's got the tone & chops on this one.
And soul. Amongst dozens upon dozens of other wizardry
Steve... killer tone
I think Joe Satriani was outstanding. His daring choices within a slightly simpler melodic style overall outshone some of the more musically complex ideas of the others.
Eric Gales is incredible!
Eric Gales & Steve Morse,..youre the best!!!❤
Joe will forever be my guitar God ! But I must say this round goes to Eric ! Good God what it must have been like to be there . 3 absolute MASTERS of their craft ! More please !!
Definitely think the round goes to Morse. No one is as good as he is.
Satriani is the Shredder with most feeling you can hear , his blues roots and his love for Hendrix makes him keep that
Agreed 👍
He's so fukin good
Absolutely ... he was feeling it out ..
Satriani is anti jazzy lines
RIP Jeff Beck
This is the most tasty G3 jam on this song I've seen. Just having fun, not trying to outdo each other or shred the thing.
Eric steals any stage he gets on to me, every lick is just oozing with soul and a complexity nobody comes close to, no cliche licks it's all talent, when he burns it is on point timing wise, vicious sounding attack with great accuracy and articulation and always maintaining its melodic content throughout.
Yeah, a lot of talent, but he also sounds a lot like the other Eric (Johnson) when he riffs
@@jota3845 EJ's violin tone is what it is, less emphasis on attack like a bow on a violin than Gales, their phrasing is also totally different. Yeah they both can blow through a simple pentatonic blues box but that's about it. I love EJ and I love EG, and to be told you sound a lot like one of the greatest is not a bad thing.
Accurate analysis!
Who eric ??
Eric Gales has that special gift of being able to absorb generations of guitar influences from all genres of music. He once called it “like a bowl of gumbo”. If you can catch a live show you’re in for a treat.
Eric pure feeling....Master.
Great Sound, Great Player's, Satriani Is The KING Of Everything Guitar 🎸🎸🎸!!!
So great to see Steve back on stage!!!!
Bryan's rig shaking left and right is unnerving, to say the least.
Стив Морс это Легенда! Так приятно снова увидеть его на сцене! Он как всегда хорош!
Yes
Satriani 's solos are amazing ...
Eric Gales just in another level 🎸🎶. respect for Satch n Morse love those guys too .
Another Level???
@@ScottD-44 listen to some more eric gales their will be no question about it.
NO. he's just different.
@@krzysztofolejnik158 ok mmm, compose and record with enough time and with the chance of create Nice phrasing and edit solos is awesome but Gales do it jamming , like Govan .
It's not about scales or Styles or speed .
@@CarlozOlivosStrings
people have different tastes bro.. 😏 i didn't like the performance of this whole Gales, in my opinion Satch crushed everyone.
Steve Morse is the absolute best guitarist I've ever heard.
Man, Kenny Aronoff is everywhere. Great jam!
Steve was really digging on Eric's playing. That bass stack was rockin' out.
This is a great G 3 line up if Joe puts it together.
I'd love to see that.
Keyboard isn't even plugged in..
...but he doesn't care. That's pure excitement! :-)
They are all great , Morse won best guitarist 5 yrs in a row ( guitar player) , just listen to his solo work and you’ll see why , plays all styles and incredibly well !
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhl my goodness AND Mister A on the drums!!!❤
Gales is just a tasty, groovy player … love him. Always tosses in a great unexpected note.
C101 Corpus Christi Radio,1991!Eric Gales!Sign of The Times! It was All Over That Radio, back in da Day,nah!Goin Back, and Now Goin Down!Take Care!
Bom ver o Steve Morse de volta, saúde e recuperação pra sua esposa, Amém!
I Steve was having the most fun, the smile didn't leave his face!
He’s got Steve freakin Morse just standing there rocking out watching him play. 🤘🏼
Eric Gales has the Monster Blues Phrasing solo + with his very low drive tone..its damn hard to play and shred in clean notes…Hail Eric 🔥🔥🔥
Fantastic groove. Fantastic Joe my best
Eric's vocals sound great! Looking forward to seeing him live someday. Joe's cocked wah tone just pops out like nothing else!
Al the drummers of the world need to know that when it comes to Joe's solos you need to go the ride way
Bryan beller amp stack can't stop herself dancing around to this chops...amazing
I think this is the first time I've seen Mr. Morse play a blues. I see Eric Gales and Joe Satriani playing the blues all the time. That's definitely an excellent rendition of this song.
JOE!!!!!!!!
Absolutly amazing guitar hero trio
Steve Morse is a towering giant of talent, but it's nice to see him be a fan of his colleagues.....and I wouldn't want to have to play after Eric....that guy is amazing
Can’t get enough of these “battles” with Joe involved.. 🤟🏻
Eric gales never really heard him until now , and I don’t like to judge players against each other. But Eric was in another league here.
Hague’s way back to his teens on the Arsenio Hall show with his brother and his Iqbal band. Even sat in with the house band.
From crack dealer to playing with Joe and Steve. 🤘🏼
Wellcome Steve...by your fan from 1976!!!!
Full circle moment right here..cut my chops w satch and Eric..Steve got them tasty licks too, damn!! Satch tone is crayzee along w that melodic playin! We all win w this epic moment!!
Eric Gales, “I Want My Crown”.
Yeahh!! Eric is a true bluesman 😎🙌
Wow - so good, thanks for sharing! Having Satch, Gales, and Steve Morse is such a great combo. All so tasty in their own way! 🤘😁
Steve and Joe on the same stage...wow! Wish I could see that live 👏
Awesome Jam with Joe Satriani , my favorite guitarist in the world , Love his music, Am familiar with Eric Gales have listened to his music and epic guitar battles with Joe Bonamassa. am dedicating this to a special friend @M.Lou who is a big Eric Gales fan and his music.
I'm a fan of Eric Gales and all the musicians here. Even though I'm only beginning to know them, I'm certainly appreciative of their work. Have only recently begun to listen to Joe Satriani's music over the past couple of months...thanks to riverrat55. And Steve Morse, too...would like to get to know his music. Lots of learning in the days ahead for me. I fell in love with Eric Gales during Joe Bonamassa's "John Henry" guitar battles....very exciting! Have been an avid Joe Bonamassa fan for several years now.
@@M._Lou am grateful I found this early today , as I get a lot of his music choices of Satriani , and was awesome to see Eric Gales with Joe, and the rest of his current band and Steve Morse has been with Deep Purple for some time now.
Morse is the man! Love watching him jam.
Thanks.. 🙏
I love this ! Going back forwards in time with those who created all that is now.
wow jam. Thanks for posting.
Steve n Eric still my guitar heroes, awesome guys!!❤
Such an awesome show! Thanks for posting guys 😎
Steve, we've missed you! Satch is on fire here, Eric no slouch, but, for me, Morse is another level of musicaliy
Great guitar Gods up there! Glad to see Eric getting his time. It is his time now. I have seen him many times live. He is different. Has his on thing going on. Really coming into his own. The “Crown”fits well!
Joe has such good tone and Eric has such a nice touch but as great as Steve is we didnt see it here. He is a monster player for real.
Steve is so good he didn’t need to show off. EVH did this in jams too
Didn’t we? Everything he did was in perfect measure for the jam’s pace. That’s a skill few players have. Showing off is cool but knowing when to show off is something only the best of the best have. Best example being Guthrie Govan
Morse was and still is awesome,..one of my all time fav and influences,.....his wrist just isnt there anymore,....is it arthritis in his wrist does anyone know?,..he has to move from his arm now to pick,..ive seen it get worst over the last 10 years to this,...really bad.
@@5664788 He's always picked from his arm. Having said that, he's made some adjustments to his technique lately.
@@5664788 lol what?! Watch more than 1 video bro. He’s been off the stage for 8 months.
I love Joe Satriani, I love Steve Morse but I can't remember listening to Eric Gales since the 90's. Thanks for reminding me of him. Long time, no see.
Mind blowing jam!
Vida longa a Satriani, Morse e Eric Gales..!
Eric is harmonically more sophisticated than Satriani or Morse, but he's holding back here.
3lions the king of tone ! Always "delicious" taste in my mind ! Wanna more..more..again n again !!!❤❤❤
I like how the drummer counts off and then immediately changes tempo. It reminds me of my dad and his friends. I'm 38
I bet Steve is happy to get off the Deep Purple forever tour. Best wishes to him and his wife. I've met them both and I hope all is well.
Love Steve, since the 70's. Beller? Cool.
Sach is on fire!
All-around great musicianship - bass, drums, keyboards and the 3 amazing guitarists.
What Steve Morse has done with Deep Purple, Eric Gales with the Eric Gales Band and all his albums. Joe Satriani is my favorite guitarist/musician.
no need high drive like the 2 others, eric gales is absolutely pure blues artist
I wonder how many guitar players watching this grabbed their guitar to learn the riff Eric is playing at 1:40… 🔥
Eric Gales brings the sound of hole-in-the-wall blues clubs. This performance demonstrates an important lesson that technique, licks and guitar mastery mean nothing. Music is about putting the feeling of people and place through your instrument and amplifier. Eric tells the story with his guitar - with the feeling and smell and culture of American Blues clubs from the 1950's - 2000's. He takes the audience there.
For the style, for me Eric Gales Win
Great to see the G3 going to G4s and especially Mr Steve Morse... Keep Rocking Blues always.... Love you folks..Thanks Dream catcher .. subscribed 👍
Go joe!
here we go again guys
Eric is light years ahead of these guys..kinda of sad to watch Eric shred all over these guys. It is what it is Hats off to all of these guys
Lol eric is not light yrs of either steve or joe, he’s definitely talented but you show me something thats he’s done that rivals steves dixie dregs or solo output or a gales composition thats as melodic as joes work
Feels like I’m still there! Dreamcatcher camps are always epic, and this was the best yet!
This kicks ass for so many reasons
Love these jams!
This is the reason why CZcams is the best! I‘ m here and I‘m there at the same time.
Wow Eric Gales really stood out. Sounded badass
Always good to listen to his guitarists. A quality and always modern reference.
Reckon Mr Morse sleeps with that Ernie Ball. After many years playing Id say most of us settle down with our favourite too.
Love Eric Gales, and Steve is amazing too. The whole band was great. Thanks for sharing.
Satriani's tone is always impeccable, love Eric Gales and Steve Morse a legend from back in the day.. Would like to see Frank Marino and Randy Hansen on one of these
"Mega Jams" ! ... Joe Bonamassa on the G3 tour would be nice...
Frank Marino retired, unfortunately
@@Yourbankaccount Wow 😕 Sorry to hear that.. he didn't get the recognition that he deserved !
Wow Eric Gales ☝🏽
Super les gars bravo et un grand merci ! Going down ! Joe fidèle à toi même le pro de l'impro et du pull ! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Eric Gales! you are my Idol now
Three of my favourite axeman on stage together, great stuff. Just missing Shawn Lane to bring the house down.
Great
I've learned how to play solos on guitar by playing along with Joe Satriani's CDs over and over again, but the moment Steve Morse signed the back of my guitar headstock over 18 years ago this weird chromatic parts started to appear in my solo lines and they will never go away. I think I got blessed or something, but part of Steve Morse style is my style as well. Both phenomenal guitar players and my grandmasters.
Incredibly talented each and every musician. New breed of music coming out of Japan. I havent listened nor followedto Japanese musics for a long time and seeing this is mesmerizing. Beautiful composing with old the traditional instruments play crazy…and they are hot too❤
Wow eric gales is so incredible
Good fun.
