The proper way to do it is to scrunch up the top and bottom of the suit with both hands so the neck opening is near the waist opening and pop your head in FIRST ....then your arms last. Much easier on you and the suit. To remove the suit its the reverse - arms out first and head pops out last.

You do want your wetsuit to fit you snug but not to tight to the point it’s uncomfortable. Also through use you’ll slowly start to break it in
