As someone who is....decent online. I started off 9-0 on this. It feels like the game just does so much better without abilities. I honestly prefer it this way.

I love this mode. it's so damn good to not look at the field with all white x's and glowing abilities. I'm an older madden player so this is how I played madden in college.

I love the mode but I genuinely believe they forgot to add the bears playbook. Like 15+ drafts on two accounts for me never got it.

Yeah one thing I prioritize is a good secondary, especially corners, becuase you can get torched easily if they have good receivers

The only thing about this draft mode is how inconsistent they are with giving you good players. It sucks when you only get 1 round where you can choose 99s and then play people who have 3-4 of them

Also ring of honor cards that have the abilities like Hester with return man are on in the games. I had Dickerson with joystick and Polamalu with pick artist one draft

I think the random playbooks help too cause people are forced to run different stuff. Without abilities people would still find BS in Madden
