After watching this video I looked through my massive laundry quarter stash and found a 1983p spitting Eagle, but it's got a lot of wear and tear, but also looks like it's a double struck. Thank you for the information, else this coin would have gone into a washing machine!

Can you see the spit without magnification? I have a 1983p, and cannot see it without any magnification, but with a 5X mag glass I think I see it. Will take to a coin shop tomorrow and see what he says. Mostly I am finding 1983 D quarters.

I have one of these 83 that has ring doubling and looks like re punched mint mark. No spitting eagle, worth anything? And the I and half the n are missing
I think i just found one? The line looks like a scratch and not dark like your's? But its perfect from the beak to the wing. Very noticeable with a light on it! Face looks much smother the your pic!

I found an 1983 quarter with lines off of the eagle wings northward through the lettering on both sides. My question is ? Is their an 83 documented variety like the one I'm inquiring about.
I have a 2004 Texas back Washington quarter with a runny nose and a tear down his eye. And a 1999 p Roosevelt dime with a spiked nose. Would those be worth a premium with such anomalies or not reported yet?
I went though a huge jar of coins, I found 5 1983 d quarters and 1 1983 (which looks like a t) even with a magnifying glass, so I figure must be a p. It looks different than the five d's I found. The backs look the same, or I cannot tell the difference. Thanks for great video

I have a question, I just found a 1983 Quarter just like this one, except that it's paper thin and only consists of the head side. The other side of it is the coin is just the head bulging outward slightly from it being imprinted on the opposite side. There is no sign of damage that would suggest it was cut in half, and the head bulging out from the side also suggests that it wasnt cut in half. Is this just junk or is this worth looking into?

I have a three spitting eagle quarters. I looked through hundreds. That's still pretty good percentage for a rather rare error.

@@marshasedunov4267 l'm no expert, but from what they said in videos, a spitting eagle error can be worth three to six hundred, depending on the condition of the coin. About the same holds true for high grade 1983 quarters.

i watched your video, and have quite a few 82 and 83 coins. so I started looking through them.
i found 1 definite spitting bird, and 2 possible others. my coins arent MS64, but are wayyyy better than the coin in this video.
My best find however, Is an 83D, with a large, obvious crack throughout Washingtons profile starting at the hairline, AND, The appearance of a spitting bird on the back, now, Im not sure (I am new to coin collecting and do have to get what Ive collected so far checked), but Id imagine this coin, with the crack, has some value to begin with, but if that spitting appearance of the bird on the back is also a minting error, I believe this would be a very valuable coin, no?
83‘s or not scares at least in my opinion I watch this video three years ago been keeping an eye out form got it at least 150 of them when I stopped collecting them 2 yrs ago..You must have a whole bunch of them like I do you just want to build a demand but got to be more popular on CZcams for that

I was watching this video and looking through my coins and I sow a nickel they look kind funny when I look closely I found an eyeball on the bottom of the Monticello steps and I went to the other side and a sow n step going across the eyeballs is that worth something?

Depends on condition but if its nice I would they start around $295 for a graded example so far that We've found.
