Im making the step by step cardigan RIGHT NOW, imagine my excitement when this video popped up.
Oh my good lord, that Norwegian jumper is completely stunning! I can't even begin to comprehend 😮 you are incredibly talented. So excited to see the finished result. Go Florence!
Thank you so much for making free patterns available. It is very much appreciated 😊
I also really like your summer piece. I am friends with cotton, I think it will look good knitted with that too
So excited to test the ribbed top! I picked up the knitting for olive merino in dusty violette and I think it’ll truly be an all-season staple!
Love your podcast and your knitting is lovely! Thank you so much for offering your patterns for free. Your generosity is very much appreciated!!❤
I just have no words to describe how extraordinary and beautiful all of your wips are florence, I am currently crying. I love how you are in your colourwork era and you are making me want to cast on a jumper like that, even if I don't know if I'll ever going to wear it. I bet you are feeling so excited and proud of that creation, as you should! thank you for the lovely episode
Wow What wonderful inspiration you generate from your podcasts Florence!! Thank you dear!
That colourwork sweater is stunning ❤
I'm looking forward to seeing your final Norwegian sweater because what you have done is beautiful! I would not have the nerve to knit such a sweater without the written pattern! My hat is off to you! Good luck finishing the project!
I love the boat neck tank! It’s exactly the type of summer top I’d love to knit!
that poppy blue yarn looks so pretty! And I think you will look great in it :)
good to see you again Florence. I want to thank you for these, they are wonderful and I have gotten so many fantastic ideas watching them! Just purchased your cardigan pattern and am winding wool this weekend. Won't get to cast on until mid May but am really looking forward to it.
the ski sweater is amazing. Your choice of colors are perfect. Can't wait to follow its progress, maybe you can allay some of my steeking fears!!
I just finished an Oslo Hat in the Knitting for Olive poppy blue and I love it so much - such a fun pop of colour!
Omg! The Norwegian sweater is gorgeous! I can’t wait to see the finished product! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
11:03 your pale green floof jumper is perfect for a Bridgerton season three launch… so pretty. ❤
That jumper is beautiful!!! It's so much prettier than the original!
That first summer top is basically exactly what I’ve been looking for 😭😭 I can’t wait for the pattern to come out eventually… 👀 I don’t think the twisted rib shifting is that noticeable!
Love the top too! Will wait for the pattern to come out. ❤
I have been getting small socks because I get the "magical thinking" about the foot length that should be fine, even if I know that i need at least 70 rows 🙄and start the toe box before is long enough. YES I really want a camisole like yours.pleasee!
Your Albertville 1992 is absolutely beautiful ❤️💙🤍
For the cashmere fluffy top that you keep putting down (@11mins), you could try threading some elastic through the neckline to tighten it slightly, without having to redo the icord
i think that poppy blue from kfo really suits you! since you're a cool-tone girly! hopefully it'll become a staple color in your wardrobe
the Lillehammer sweater is the love of my life
that tank top is so gorgeous!!! i can’t wait for the pattern
I just finished the knitting for olive y top in poppy blue and I got away with just two balls of it!! Youve got it!!
Rauma Fivel has a high % of lambswool! So itll soften up more 😍
love watching your videos so much! 🧡
I love every single pattern you release or choose to knit. You've been very generous in sharing the step by step processes of knitting a sweater, my first ever, and a cardigan. Would you mind making a video on the logic behind some basic stiches and increses/decreases to get what we want to achieve in a knit garment? I can follow most patterns now but still cannot figure out the logic behind most things that I am doing. Asking for a lot but that would mean a lot❤
so excited for the summer top!
I missed yours videos 😊
thank you for them
Love your camisole! Looking forward to it.🎉
so many lovely creations!
I’m also a fan of adding Isager Alpaca 1 to another yarn - in my case I’ve added it to one strand of Nutiden to make it stronger and to kind of solidify the colour I wanted. I like it in some cases more than mohair because often the mohair has a light base that interferes with Nutiden’s beauty whereas the laceweight alpaca doesn’t seem to mask those lovely multiple colours. It’s also more affordable as you get a lot of metres in a ball. Titicaca from Holst is also a good choice. There are lots of great saturated colours in both brands.
I absolutely love the neckline on the cami. I believe it's a boatneck? I could be wrong. That i-cord edge is so great. makes it really professional looking
SBS is in my hands right now😊
I also knit on my lunch breaks. Gotta squeeze in some knitting time during the day somewhere, lol.
I think how you feel about that test knit is how I felt about the tshirt I just finished 😂 Like I wouldn’t necessarily tell people to not knit a tshirt on a 35 stitch gauge, but you should definitely appreciate what you’re getting yourself into!
That's so interesting about the twisted rib, I never considered that. I think it looks fine from a distance though!
Ooh are you nr Oxford? A fantastic knitting shop there.. parking is a nightmare as always in Oxford. I’m Nr Chipping Norton. We have an amazing knitting shop if you’re ever passing through ❤
Fabulous post. Thanks so much. 🌸
Boatneck, I think.
I really love the camisole.
Currently swatching for the ribbed camisole! I actually have three color choices (KFO Pure Silk)… so I might have to make three? 😅
Your Norwegian sweater is indeed beautiful.
I love how your New camisole looks!! Gorgeous! I would love to make it!! Would you consider adding a cap sleeve/sleeve modification if you came out with a pattern?
Very pretty sweater!!
Love your videos. The neckline on your tank is called a bateau neckline.
My local yarn store employee, in norway, told me the fivel yarn get sofer after being washed 😊 also i am from trondheim
That mohair project makes me want to sell my stash and give up knitting 😂
For the colourwork sweater, you might consider steeking the armhole in an”L” shape - so you’ve cut out none of the fabric at the top but some fabric on the inferior side of the armscye
Could you run elastic thread through the neck cord? Just a thought, I love the fabric, color & design. Yes that is a peplum. Like you chanel 💕
Nice work. Is it possible at the light blue sweater insert elastic in the lcord instead of ripping it. It might be worth to try and see. Good luck.
Very nice and bra friendly too! Good job
Great video as always. Please could you share what trousers you are wearing in the thumbnail? I've been looking for a pair like that for ages :) thank you!
Thanks! They’re from Toast :)
could you sew an elastic thread into the too-big neckline in order to get the correct fit?
Great podcast as always 😍 Could you please tell where your top is from? It's very pretty
If you do find that link for Norwegian knitting terms, let us know!! I am learning Norwegian and I’m a knitter….. dual purpose learning for me 😂
I would love to be a test knitter for your new summer top if you are still looking for testers!
Hello Florence,
I was born in Albertville and my name is also Florence lol.
I would like to ask you where you were able to download the pattern, because on Ravelry it is impossible to download it.
I sincerely thank you.
xXX👍👍👍
wow, you impress me so much with your knitting. I love that you are knitting from the VM book. I alsp want to knit from that book, VM genser 1991... If you have problems with getting Rauma yarn, maybe we could switch yarns. Im Norwegian and I have easy access to Rauma yarn.
I’m really looking forward to the Mabel wrap cardigan. Do you have an ETA for its release?
I’ll be editing the pattern next week and will release after that!
I bought one of your patterns for a beginner sweater for some wool I had but then I noticed your pattern was for worsted / UK Aran and I have DK, so can't use it, do you have any patterns for card's or jumpers in DK that go up to 4xl?
