    1. He did not say anyone is more African, not African etc... All he said was he was going to be the real African champion because he was born, lives and trains out of Africa, PURE FACTS.
    2. Your boy Izzy is insecure about that which is fair but to lash it out the way he did is not cool at all.
    3. Being African has nothing to do with race.
    4. They are both African (Izzy, DDP) but to be honest Izzy did leave Africa, DDP did not.

Dricus was quoted saying (did those belts ever go to africa as far as I know they went to America and New Zealand I wake up in Africa every day I breath african air I train in Africa thats a african champion and that is who I will be).Now time to clarify number 1 Africa is not a race it is a place with many different countries, many different cultures and many different races yes it is true black people are the ancestral people of sub-Saharan Africa however go to north-Africa and you will find plenty of arabs a as well(just an interesting fact for those that think African and Black mean the same thing). Number 2 Dricus literally explains in this interview what he believes a real african champion to be born, raised, trained okay he believes this because he actually figured out that Isreal and Kamaru trained and developed their skills out of America and New Zealand( and China) and Francis did it out of France and America hench Dricus would be the First to do so out of Africa witch were we talking about any other place and if it were any other race that said it would be fine. Izzy in this wonderful little video on instagram shows Dricus in a octagon interview where he says he wants to be the first real african champ however it does not show the full clip were he also says born, raised and trained and even if he did not ad that last part I already using logic and common sence clarified want he believes an african champion to be because to him an african according to birthplace and an african champion are not the same thing when he said bring the belt to africa he implied his home in africa Izzy took offence to this because apparently he does not comprehend that he does not live in Africa. Number 3 Izzy is a culture hoping hypocrite that lives in New Zealand, represents Nigeria and claims to have a Chinese hart all while talking like a black american but Dricus Du Plesis cannot represent the 1 country he has ever called home because he is not the correct race. And Finally number 4 please explain why a persons ancestry and a coutries history is so important to a person born after all that and he himself not do a dame thing if we go down that road then every country, tribe, race and culture would have to be punished because we have all done horrible things to somebody. And to all the people that think you cannot be african and white FU from a White South African

Hi! Person of Color here from South Africa. Apartheid and segregation was an invention of the British, not the afrikaaners. The Afrikaaners are ethnically made up of people from France and Holland. Also, Afrikaaners suffered in concentration camps under the british. But yes, whatever....

Dricus fights out of Africa, Izzy doesn't, what is so difficult to understand? DDP takes the belt to Africa, IA takes the belt to New Zealand..it's so simple

Apartheid ended 29 years ago, Dricus is 29 years old was born in the post-apartheid era and now he has somehow decided its "cool" to rep Africa because there is no more negative connotation to it? Wow that is just a moronic statement, and once again I find yet another black person saying that you cant be white and African, you have to be black so I will ask again, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria are people from these countries not African? According to your views they are not African because they are not black.

I am a Afrikaner and you talking rubbish , take out history(Yoruba are not squeaky clean 😉)and race out the equation(it's irrelevant if you not racially inclined and judge each individual on the contents of their character n not their skin) because Dricus never said the words 'more African'...Dricus is talking about geography like so many fighter have done to get fights and merely become a champion residing in Africa (which is a fact)

@@swartkat3472 no DDP defined what African is. And Izzy gave his definition . The question is who is right. Or was it stupied for DDP to define what real African fighter is.
