This is one of the effective and cheap solutions of PVD coating. And you can use this product for bigger products as well. it works both on Mat and Glossy stainless steel. i used my unicorn sculpture and stainless steel for coloring. Pre Washing - Pre-washing of the substrate is essential. Make a hot water pre-washing bath solution or can make a lime water bath solution for cleaning. Deep the substrate and Use a cotton cloth to wipe out the moisture from the substrate.

COMPOSITION - Mixing Ratio for 100 gm - SS Golden Gloss Lacquer Solution - 80% Hardener - 20% = 20 gm
Surface Preparation - The surface should be clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, and foreign contaminants before coating. For previously painted surfaces remove all unstable paint film. Loose chalk. Dust and foreign matter. Surface sanding is preferable on smooth surfaces. Ensure that the substrate has a maximum glossy finish. It can be done by buffing
Procedure for Spray -Put the mixture in a spray gun with proper filtration. Pressure-bar of gun 2bar. Hold the gun approximately 30 cm from the object to be sprayed. Press level down with the index figure. Keep the gun in motion from side to side so that coating is deposited evenly.

This is a different process much similar to painting. You can do the heat colouring first and then use this painting method over that surface. It will definitely bring up the different colour effect. But i personally never tried that .
