    Useful information, but it would have been better is the camera was aimed at something other than the table the whole time. With the table it's difficult to see how your changes affect the image.

    Love the video, but I don't know if it is because of updates or something, but lots of the things you talk about are not available on my S20 now. I wonder if you could do an add on with what the options are a year later, with the new updates installed? Thanks again, have liked and subscribed xxx

    I took a video today on my new S20 phone, and found that traffic lights (LED) showed up orange instead of red, and electronic signs (e.g. on destination signs on the front of oncoming buses) were all flicker and unreadable.

    I switched from the s7 to the s20 and the speed is insane... no overheating, great pictures, and 120hz. Single take really sucks though, because it has a lot of potential... being able to choose which shots you take would have been amazing, but my best pictures came from there for some reason...

    Hey man, thanks for the tips, appreciate it. One question though, even with the "Beauty mode" switched off, my photos still seems to to have the effect on afterwards in my Gallery. Please tell me there is a way to switch this off, because I don't want to look like a porcelain doll in my photos and neither do my dogs, I'm sure. Haha. Example - even whilst focusing the shot properly to get all the "hairy" details on them, the final shot still comes out "smoothed". I absolutely HATE that, there must be a way to switch it off that "processed smoothing" look. I'm on the Galaxy S20 btw.

    • @dph308
      @dph308 Před 4 lety +5

      You need to go in Pro mode - the over-sharpening is reduced in this mode. Has worked well for me and I hardly ever go back to auto mode unless I really don't have time to do manual controls. Hate the over smoothing and saturation like you.

    While discussing aspect ratio, you did not touch on the pros and cons of the "full" ratio on the Galaxy S20. Can you please give your opinion. I like the view while taking pictures but is there a downside?

    • @ondrejbobek.
      @ondrejbobek. Před 4 lety +4

      4:3 aspect ratio is native ratio of the sensor - this means, that everything different from 4:3 is smaller, than original = not maximum quality.
      If you print or exactly crop your pictures in editors, it is good to have biggest possible quality.
      Without printing or editing is different aspect ratio (16:9) good for on-screen viewing on TV or phone (on the TV just in landscape orientation) :)

    Do you feel the Samsung S23 Ultra camera is far superior to this one?

    Can someone please tell me how to get my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW out of selfie mode? Dumbest question ever, but the user guide is useless!

    Video quality yes photo quality NO! I have the GS20 5G and it is the absolute WORST of the GS series I have ever owned! Megapixels mean nothing if you're constantly fighting to get the damn camera to focus and or take clear photos! Macro NONexistant! This is where the I phone has Samsung beat hands down! My old GS3 took fantastic photos as did my 4 and 5 and even GS8. I struggle all the time to take half decent photos! I haven't seen a video yet that explains how to actually make the camera take great photos!

    First, thanks for the tips. Very handy. However all that lip smacking almost made this video unwatchable. Just saying
