I already have the essences for your farming build except for the pants, and the awakening for the alternative starter pants you recommend unfortunately give damage instead of cd reduction, so I’m using it with the chest awakening and two rolling surf damage awakenings. One detail about this build: two people made comments on your trial of hordes build saying that storm fury doesn’t work with rolling surf. Have you been able to confirm or refute this?
Hey, thanks! For me it is working! When I tested on the dummy any damage increase from stormfury was tracked in the miscellaneous section (it is the same whether you use basic wind edge primary or rolling surf primary). I did a basic damage test with no gear to confirm this. I also did a damage test with all gear once while pressing all skills and once while pressing all skills except stormfury. The first test gave 2.1m damage/s which is similar as seen in this video (I didnt bother trying with my pet active). The 2nd test gave 1.65m damage/s. So roughly a 27% decrease in total damage when I didn't use stormfury. I repeated this test multiple times and the result was the same
I can't can't help loving vortex as it reminds me of crusader falling sword before the nerf. The interrupt with armor break essence makes it just melt normal mobs. I understand your reasoning for flowing strikes but as a stylistic preference I don't like have to keep dashing it keep buffs up. I had that with DH and always ended up dashing into some air ground dmg. That being said love the build and your choice on paragons I found really helpful so thanks
There are many good options but if you ask about my exact setup used in this video (not optimal): Fervent Fang Pain Clasp Mother's Lament Blood-soaked jade Bottled Hope Echoing Shade Howler's call (aux: Gloom Cask) Zwenson's Haunting (aux: Roiling Consequence) Other good gem options which I wasn't using include: Berserker's Eye, Everlasting Torment, Ca'arsen's invigoration, Viper's Bite, Power & Command, Igneous Scorn, Grim Rhythm, Void Spark, Seeping Bile
I'll have a video up very soon going into detail about this which should help you. The short answer is that you need more beneficial effect duration and more cooldown from your gear pieces: Cooldown can roll on Amulet, Gloves and Rings. Beneficial effect can roll on Boots, Belt, Chest and Pants. You can also get 3% extra Beneficial effect reforges roll on each of legendary item reforges (24% total) and lastly take 2pc vithus (30% beneficial). Blessed pebble legendary gem could also be an option here if you're struggling to find those gear pieces
I mentioned it in this video and you can use it on this build! It does more damage and I really like the attack animation but found I was moving a bit slower and the name of the game with dungs is speed atm

The build is great overall, i did a little testing and my dps output was 500k/sec higher with 4p sb instead of glooms.

Yes vortex has the chest essence! I hope to use it more when more essence choices are added!

I think the cascade speed build cause u get 40% speed + u get also boundless strides and aggression

Yes! It can farm OW too though the one on my channel already should be a little faster if you don't need the extra dps from stormfury ;)
