I find HR to be a very interesting individual. He seems to be more invested in his music then a lot of pop artists I see making an exponentially larger amount of money nowadays. Keep on keeping on HR! :)

FANTASTIC DOCUMENTARY! 🧠
I've been following this band since I was 12....that's 30 years now. The guy is not what he was....the last tour he seemed normal was the Quickness tour....like the video says, "something happened to HR"....it's mean to say "crazy" but reality is reality....and if Bad Brains is going to tour with him, they're open to this criticism. I have NOTHING but respect for Gary, Darryl and Earl (and heck HR as well)....but I'd rather remember them for what they were, and not the shell they are now.

Enlightened people seem crazy to the people that are only seeing reality through the perspective of the physical material world. Especially through the lens of the false reality matrix that has almost no connection to the true physical reality we live in. The masses have been deluded so much that true words of wisdom are considered crazy. Why do you think Christ was put to the death? Either people thought he was crazy or he was a threat to the status quo of the matrix, and yes the matrix is real and has been oppressing humanity for thousands of years in some form at least. Not saying HR does not have psychological problems but I wonder how much of that has to do with this toxic satanic system we live in. People like HR do not function well in a sick system. Anybody that is functioning well in this false reality is truly the sick and crazy deluded one.
Question for you, do you typically stick to their purely hardcore punk records? At what point in their career do you consider they stopped making music worth listening to? I genuinely adore their ENTIRE catalog, including the latest albums Build a Nation and Into the Future and everything in between. Not a single bad song on any records. I have never seen them live so maybe you are referring to the performances not being what they once were, but you cannot expect them to sound like they did in the 80's, that's not fair. You have to listen to the music with a different expectation and adjust to the way they have changed musically over the years. I promise if you put in the effort to appreciate any of those records, you will begin to hear the essence of the Brains and appreciate the evolution they have gone through over their long and amazing career.
I get that the later records are not appreciated as much as the classic records, but I implore you to listen to ALL of their music because every last one they did is pure and timeless and needs to be in the hearts and minds of ALL people. Truly beautiful music through and through so give it a chance.

I have seen bad brains many times, and HR solo act and it was mind blowing, hope he and dr know get better.
Finally get to see this next month in san francisco
Saw the documentary tonite in Baltimore at the Maryland Film Festival. Really good documentary. I recommend it if your a Bad Brains or HR fan.

...I want to know why Earl never does interviews. He's HR's brother, and you never hear him in an interview. I'd love to get his take on things....that Bad Brains: Band in DC documentary was okay, but not having Earl on it, just made me wonder why we never hear from him? Dr. Know...awesome...Daryl....awesome....HR....Whoa....and Earl.....crickets

I know, right? I can't wait to see this. When 'Quickness' came out my jaw hit the floor and, to me, he was untouchable. It's sure going to be an interesting tale.
