This F11 seems like a good flyer and the gimbal seemed to perform decently but the app video feed freezing, gps sat counting jumping all over and the SD card not recording video is really unfortunate. Considering this is as much or more than a Mini SE 2 is going to make this one a tough sell for Ruko if they don't get these issues fixed. Great job on this review Dave!
Yeah i will have to retest this drone out again soon in another location and see if it does the same thing. I realised afterwards when i released this video there was a prompt in red saying reformat card, didn't notice it at the time of flying as on the phone the lettering was hard to see on the phone. so will definitely reformat that before my next flight. Maybe that was causing all the recording issues, other than that it flies really well and the camera is very stable. Thanks for watching Ryan

Nice vid! While using my old Ipad2 with longer cable, I also experienced a disconnect and had to restart. It also shows "may not be supported" message when starting the app. I hope this works because I wanted a larger screen. And, I purchased a larger notepad mount for the Ipad that mounts to the controller. After switching back to my Android phone (Samsung S10) things seem to work better. The Ipad2 does not have cellular so this may also be an issue. I will keep trying.

Nice one Dave even with the app problem at one stage the satellite telemetry went right down to to 3 on your phone iv got the sjrc f11 witch has the older controller and never had them problems with the app not even my jjrc x11 is that bad in the app as always Dave your videos are awesome thanks buddy 👍👌🤟😎

Never got around to doing it, been too busy and had a recent surgery. I'm sure there are plenty of range test videos on this ruko drone on CZcams anyways. Thanks for watching 👍
@PERTHWESTOZRC not really with that particular remote controller. Yes there are videos but not range test with the newest remote.

would you recommend this drone or the s116? I had the idea to buy a cheao drone and put my dji pocket 3 on it for better quality. But im not sure if these drones could support the weight of it. What would you say?
This drone isn't what I'd call cheap! So I'd go for the S116 Max if you on a budget

It's the exact same drone roku just slapped that name on it and charges double. Amazon has about 4 other brand names selling the same drone.

What you on about? It's antenna is built into the phone holder
@@PERTHWESTOZRC they don't seem extended I get 9000ft on very same drone with no interference but if I forget to extend I only get 2 to 3000 ft and get lag
It all depends on the location, there are a lot of houses along this field so obviously creating interference with the signal of this drone
Has some good points, but overall lacking. Good review sir.
