Yeah, just two weeks ago, the two of us slandered through this area - you know, looking around, photos taking and of course, we hired some traditional clothes and so did lots of younger people. Not as touristy as it used to be three years back from now, but give it several more weeks and tourists like us will eventually make an appearance. We met Italians, Spanish, Germans, Russians, Chinese, and not that many Australians - we are from Down Under and had to jump through hoops with all this paperwork and covid testing and certificates of proof of being really fully vaccinated. So, thumps up, get the tourist busses going like before covid as it is a joke that only one shortened bus line runs in Seoul right now. Busan, as being only the second-largest Korean city has two and the blue bus route to switch onto at Haeundae Beach will also be soon operational again. Jeju Island has one to go around in the Jeju city area and only two private tourist lines were operational. However, Cars to rent and taxis are there and they are only happy to take you even to the remotest places of interest, Jeju Island offers.

주거지라서 자동차는 어쩔수없다해도 그럼에도 자동차들이 아무곳이나 주차되어있는게 결정적 흠임ㆍ주차된 자동차들로인해 매력이 절반이나 반감될정도임ㆍ북촌미관의 상당부분을 감쇄하는 느낌 ㆍ뭔가 대책이 있어야

저기가 민속촌도 아니고 실제 사람이 사는 곳인데 저기 사는 사람들은 황당할 듯. 일제시대에 일본놈들이 저 북촌을 싹다 밀어버리고 일본인촌으로 만들려고 했는데 정세권이란 분이 북촌의 버려진 민가들을 왕창 사들여서 개량 한옥을 대량 공급해 북촌을 지켰다고 하네요. 그 분은 독립운동도 후원하셨는데 조선어학회의 최대 후원자이셨고 그 일로 일본 헌병에게 체포되 고문까지 받으셨다고 합니다.
북촌은 조선시대 권력가 양반들이 살던 곳이였죠 그 대저택을 헐어서 작은 한옥으로 만들어 서민들에게 팔았다네요
이곳 부촌도 현대식 건물 없애야됌 외국사람이 한옥보러오지 현대식 건물보러오간 서울시 건축 허가 을 현대식으로 하려고 하면 건축허가내주면 안됌 외국사람이 북촌 왜 가는데 한옥보러 가는건데 참 생각없는 공무원 인간들
