Thanks Jesse! Been in the same boat brother. You can still find them for reasonable prices if you keep looking. Luckily I bought mine in 17 before the big bump for 16 grand 😅 with a lot of issues ofcourse

@@UbanteGarage that ain’t bad. Most of the ones I’ve looked up were with 100k+ miles for $30-$40k (give or take) on the high end with 4-5 owners. Out side looked clean but idk how well they were maintained which kinda sketches me out. Looking for another car once my Focus ST is paid off next year.

@@UbanteGarage idk, just can’t justify spending that much cash for a 20 year old car that isn’t in production anymore. Found one in Pennsylvania for $31k with I think under 40k miles, slightly modded. (Intake, Exhaust) if it’s still around come next year I might have to jump on it. Lol

Its a gel coat on carbon fiber. If u want it clear coated the end user has to get it clear coated. Honestly with that one I would sand it down a lil then clear coat it

This is similar to the Carbon Fiber RMR gurney flap from Rhys Millen Racing that I've had on my 9 MR since 2006. Doesn't require drilling into the wing, but they discontinued making it back in 2010 or so. No way I'm drilling my wing. Looks good though.

I’m not a big fan of the stock wing being plain weave carbon, and everything else being twill weave carbon.
I have the same set up on my 9 but I got the full twill weave carbon oem style wing so that everything matches with the gurney flap OTW now… I think they’re gonna become more and more popular for Evo’s here in the states 4sure

I don’t think so. Especially on a Oem trunk. But I hear the 9 spoilers fail on the section that it’s mounted to. Never seen that but I read it recently.
